Beautiful job! Definitely worth all the prep work, Steve’s going to be very proud to pop the hood for sure!

Wow Rob, that engine block and intake are stunning! Steve will love it for sure. I love Crager S/S wheels, I have them on my '83 short bed C10. Thank you for explaining things like you do. I
learn something every time I watch your videos.

Thanks for the detail. I have learned a lot by watching your videos. You explained my vapor lock for me. I live in okc and have struggled with vapor lock over 100 degrees. I’m replacing my intake gaskets on my 327 in my 57 Nomad. Thanks again!

Get a 3/8" or 1/2" phenolic spacer. It will stop vapor lock for good

Enginetech is a massive brand, and their gaskets are commissioned from Federal Mogul, Fel-pro, and Mr.Gasket!
they're like Summit Racing, Jegs, Sealed Power, Mahle, Silv-o-lite, and Speedway, they're a white box manufacturer that pulls from High quality companies, Enginetech bearings are King, Engine tech gaskets are Mr.Gasket/Fel-pro, Their pistons are Silv-o-lite, their rings are Hastings, Oil pumps are Melling.

That came out really nice! The manifold looks smooth and like it's still wet! It's nice to see how other guys prepnand paint their engines. I always learn new ideas when I see what others do. Great idea using that hi heat DupliColor engine paint as a base. I know Uncle Tony even uses a propane torch to burn off the oils that get into the porous castings before painting and you can actually see the casting dry out as he hits it with the torch. The wax remover looks like a great idea too. The pool looks like a great idea, did it work? Steve's hardtop is going to look outstanding with those Cragars! As always, I am enjoying this build! Take care Dan and keep up the great work!

Always like the 327s, the best one I had I installed trips and it pulled like crazy with just 370s. Now i just like to build my old 283s because mine scream.
Rob it's looking good can't wait to hear it run. Hope the engine builder installed the hardened exhaust seats. That's one less thing to worry about on pump gas.

That motor is looking good looks like fuely heads (camel humps) on it either 202S or 194 intakes. Rob Cragers are really nice that 55 is sweet reall luv the two tone . I had Cragers for years 1974-2015 and went with Boyd Coddington Crowned Jewels in 2015 just be different they are really nice wheels too.Steves car is going to be a head turner for sure.......Oh and congrads going over 5,000 subs...

I think Rob said it was a 64 327 and if the heads were stock they did not have 202s in 64, if those heads were from 64 they are 194s. They will still work well anyway. Plus the heads don't have the bolt holes for the alternator or a/c bolt holes in the front or back so they are 194s being double hump.

Just curious, why don't you install the intake permantly and paint it on the engine?

I had the same block in '98-99. Wish I'd actually rebuilt it and got to see it run. Instead I gave up and sold it.

This car has escalated to a big job. Did you think it would be this bad in the beginning?
