What Gloss Coat and paint was used??. I tried using Vallejo wash on my last build and it ate the future and base paint. And did nothing like this.
Can the Vallejo model color "Transparent" colors be thinned and used instead of the Glaze Medium/color mix?
Excellant, just in time for me to build my model of the GR1 of XV Squadron that I was on back in the '90's. One thing how do you simulate all the boot prints that accumulate from us liney's??
Wow.... Boot prints! maybe you must have a tiny model of a boot to recreate the prints
Hi, is the Gloss Varnish used previously in acrylic or laquer base?
Hi Noss!!! is gloss Varnish on acrylic base :)
Two for the price of one in this vid, learning Spanish at the moment, so all good from me.
Thanks John!!!! 😃
Кто производитель данной модели?
Привет! довольно распространенный торнадо 1/71 Revell
Water based wash is not high recommend, because it dries to fast, you see yourself, you have to use thinner to remove the excess paint. More recommend are oil or enamel washes.
You may want to check Laser Creation World channel here on YT, guy is using only water based washes, even makes some himself, with amazing results.
It has many advantages too Bodo, is cuestion of taste here we use water based products, and acrylics , some people prefer the enamles and oils :)
You can also use retarder with them, but must keep in mind Vallejo produces ACRYLIC paints.
@@rolandzuber2856 LCW is one of the best dioramists i have ever seen, Indeed his use of acrylic washes is superb.
I use Arts and Crafts water based paints for many a project. it takes the same time to learn how to use them as it takes for enamel or oil washes. It's not a thing of using one or the other. Rather, I see them as complementary. But to each its own.
