As someone with diagnosed ASD, I can't stand it when people hide behind their disability...which we don't even know if he has the disability in the first place either. Just unprofessional and inconsiderate of others. Disgusting.
Corpospeak is a PERFECT fit for ASD sufferers. It's so formalized and uniform that it's basically impossible to get wrong if you bother learning the vocabulary and conventions.

Fishman has one leg up on these nepo-babies: _commitment._ He did and does his absolute best for Phase to be a good healthy business, and even if he stumbles in his execution at times, he knew how to roll with the punches and take the needed actions to correct their course. Be it sit with unsatisfied talents and break down the situation so they understand the full context, or hiring Muumi who is blatantly more competent at talent (and merch) management than him.

People are predicting A-chan, but that's impossible because of laws preventing the anonymity of publicly traded companies CEO's. So my guess is that A-Chan will also retire and the company will be handed over to some new IRL woman that happens to sound just like A-chan.

This crap is why I am extremely wary of newer smaller agencies that are somehow still popping up. So many have gone down that it's amazing. And usually for good reasons.
That's true for many business ventures. Most enterprises fail within the first three-five years (I don't remember if it's 3 or 5), and this is no different.
Now the issue you have here is that you're managing public figures, even if they're hidden behind a virtual avatar, but they still are real human beans.
However a business is still a business, not a grooming place, nor a dating space, something that CEO clearly did not understand. Blame it on his age, but they're still considered adults at 18.
Now this is an opinion, but there's got to be an age limit to start a business. How can you trust a kid? As a worker for sure, but a business owner? No way. Unless they're solo, then they can prove themselves.

Yes, you generally can have issues in social settings. There's co conditions that can come with it. There's many things you can struggle with.
But we're usually smart enough to learn how to open a company and how to run it. Maybe you shouldn't do it when you're 18, since you're probably just out of school, but it wouldn't be impossible. Especially you should be smart enough to hire competent people.
Have the minors work for you depending on the laws in your country for stuff like being a vtuber or draw something whatever, but hire a proper manager.

I honestly blame some of the use of disabilities as a free pass on the whole "handicapable" BS that got pushed for a while, because it also caused issues when I tried to give a hard pass on things I knew I couldn't do due to my own disabilities. I have autism and I day one tell them my limits. What sets it off which is very few things. I also let them know if my medication changes (trying to get off it so slowly lowering dose every year or 2 ) if it to drastic tell me and so far it hasn't. But I do so I don't need to make that excuse so they know if there any drastic changes to inform me so I can go back up to the dosage I was at.

the entertainment industry is so weird on how it can get away with things. The legal age to apply for work from where I am from is 16 years old. And even then 16 years old is a minor. However anyone below 16 years old is prohibited by law of being hired to work. They are not allowed to work as an employee, period (even family run businesses can't have their own kid be counted as an employee legally until their kid is 16). What I always found bizarre is that the entertainment industry can skirt this regulation with child actors or child models for clothing magazines to employee children below the age of 16. Why is this allowed? Any other job it's forbidden to employ anyone below the age of 16 regardless if there is parental consent or not, but if it's in the entertainment industry it's a pass. I don't get labor laws sometimes. So yeah like you're a minor but not old enough to work if under the age of 16. But at age 16 your an adult enough to work by applying for a job independently but not really an adult legally, etc etc. Like again it comes back to. Why is the entertainment industry the only type of work where they can get around child labor laws?
Probably because for a normal job anything a minor can do an adult can do, and probably better. But in the entertainment industry an adult can't act as child or model a child's outfit. So it's the exception.
Children in the entertainment industry are put there by parents, and the parents are usually trustees of their child's estate (see Aaron Carter, Macaulay Culkin, Gary Coleman, etc), but at least kids can't be put in films or on tv without being a union member, so they have some protections. Stage work is another can of worms (and personally, I hate it), but SAG is precisely why there's never been a live birth on a tv show or in a movie: the newborn infant wouldn't be a member of the union, and therefore, illegal to feature.
In germany you can work small jobs at 13 years old, like bringing newspapers or magazines to people's houses.
But yeah, child acting and modeling is an exception probably for the reasons others said.

because there are child actors, baby actors, so there are exceptions, with parental consent, they can work and act. and vtuber as a culture from Japan where idols start from age of 12,13, hire minors are not something new, even holo hired minors, haachama was hired when she was 16 and in Australia, Shion was also at 16.
depends on you country parent/guardian consent is almost always required. Also many other rules. Babies can do ads because they need a baby for that purpose but that is depending on the type of medium. Show/Movies for children usually have children in them as an adult can not do that normally. When it comes to vtubing it never seems to fit any of this, and if you think about this way do you need to hire a child to voice a child in a cartoon. Answer is No usually an adult women will do that work instead. Japanese laws are a lot different then American Laws, the idols of japan would never be allowed in America but their is shows like "toddlers in tiaras" in the usa so it not entirely unfunded if created in a different way
Why is so much being made of the fact that minors were involved? Obviously, a bunch of legal stuff comes into play as far as getting permission from parents or school district, depending on jurisdiction, but if that is in order, great! Would love to see it at Cover, Phase Connect, VShojo, or other agencies that have their act together. It seems like working at a legit VTuber agency would be far more educational and beneficial to a kid in learning how to work with others, how to act in a business setting, etc. than the stereotypical summer lifeguard job. And the Vtuber industry reflexively protects its employees (in contrast to, say, McDonalds which forces their minor employees to be visible to the public and wear a badge with their first name on it; RIP privacy of minors with unusual first names).
The problem is that the agency didn't have its act together.
