      I agree - I''ve been gaming since the days of Beta Everquest (long time) and have seen alot of guides and I have to say EE takes the cake for quality, quantity, and smooth delivery. In terms of raw info/data EE is my go to. As I've said before please keep making videos as updates warrant. TYVM!

    • @mitaka1999

      Black Desert is sure a time sink, but a lot easier to understand than Path from beginner's point of view. In BDO you learn most of what you need to know about the game before you spend 50-60h at max and can get a decent character in a few hundreds of hours. This few hundreds of hours might not even be enough to understand even the basics in PoE, let alone make a stable build on your own. This game has blown my mind by it's complexity, but I guess this is it's charm. I have only around 22h playtime, but a lot more time spent watching videos and learning about the game and I still haven't scratched the surface... lol

      +Werneo, you probably killed a unique or rare monster in that map. Strand map is level 78, which is the highest level item that can drop within it, but magic monsters drop loot that is 1 level higher than the zone they are in and rare and Unique monsters +2 level higher. Strongboxes can also raise the level of items that drop within them.

    For ppl who find items that worth 1c only: put then in a premium stash tab asap! In the beginning of a league, they sell fast! 1c is worth your time there. I even put my chaos recipee gear in a b/o 1c stash, because ppl often buy it. 1c can make a difference when you wanna buy that best in slot item thats selling for 60c and you have only 59!

    Kind of disappointed you didn't go into more detail on spell-based one-handed weapons. For example, Daggers cannot normally roll cast speed unless crafted via essences. This is pretty crucial of a difference which separates daggers from scepters and wands.

    Hey, let me start with saying that I really enjoy your videos. I play PoE for a while now but you always mention something I didn´t know yet.
    You easily make the cleanest and easiest to understand general poe guides out there!
    Some suggestions for future videos:
    Go over typical noob trap uniques. Stuff like ventors that is 1 alch on poe.trade and a newbie might not stop and look carefully at the stats and just vendor it.
    Another one would be Cherrubim´s Maleficence. It´s worth some currency with a good chaos dmg roll which I didn´t know because I never used that armour and neversinks doesn´t notify you that it might be valuable. I just quickly checked it before I vendored it, saw it is at 4c and threw it into my tab just to be messaged by 20+ people because it´s actually worth around 1ex with that roll.
    Let the friendly sniper community help find valuable items:
    Simply put any item in question in a public tab or even price it at 5c(or whatever the lowest amount the person leaves map for is). If it is worth significantly more than that the friendly sniper community is going to help find that out by spamming you. Which then triggers you to look at poe.trade and find out it´s actually 2ex. If no one messages in 1-2 hours at 5c it´s probably safe to vendor it.
    Helped me price a lot of my items.
    Keep up the good work!

  • @jardelholub9409
    @jardelholub9409 Před 6 lety

    Some extra things:
    ->Most uniques are really cheap, BUT, always check the rolls, a perfect rolled (or nearly perfect rolled in some cases) can be worth a lot because of collectors (like myself XD), note that this don't include the IMPLICT of the item because that can be achieved with a few blessed orbs.
    -> Always check the price of >18% quality skill gems, some of them can be worth some chaos (>10).

  • @ggzii
    @ggzii Před 7 lety

    Also important to note that as the game changes, progresses certain items and mixtures of rolls will become more popular. That's what puts people off making a guide like this in my opinion because 1 week, you need to look for ele rings, the next is life and phys. But this is a brilliant general guide and honestly it's something GGG should have put out long ago. Great work mate keep it up.

    You have have Life build, Energy Shield build or Hybrid build.
    There is also 4th option for hardcore players: No shield and no life (i mean 1 hp only). Simply pick ES build but change the shield to affect your mana.
    No go and try to not die. Minions, totems, traps, ranged attacks, high evasion, etc - go on have fun. You will get 1 shoted by any sort of damage... except chaos. Spark builds might be good for this challange.

    Best video on this subject. It's not too hard once you play the game a bit, you can write down stuff in a cheat sheet. Tier 1 base, value range for desires stats etc then after a bit you will just know. There's even a set system for opening strongboxes and the flask system alone beats all of Diablo 3. POE is how games should be made, you can enjoy it casually but if you want to go further it's excitingly deep and complex.

    Hi, I love this Guide.
    The only thing that you could have mentioned a bit more is the value of linked chest pieces (or 2 handed weapons). I feel like gathering chest pieces without at least 5 links isn't much worth most of the time. You can't really trade them for 1C or even for 10c because a chest has to have really really good stats for people to start crafting links and at the same time they have to compete with many uniques which you did mention. When I am looking up chest pieces at poe.trade, 5links is the first thing I filter for similar to movement speed on boots.
    That are just my thoughts. I am more of a beginner so maybe I should have a better look at all chest pieces.
    keep up the great work, thanks a lot!

    So after watching some of your guides as recommend from a friend, I now regret playing Diablo 3 for so long and just now getting into this game. I love the challenge provide by POE, so much research to still do ....love it!

    You're completely forgetting primary attributes. High str/dex/int rolls on basically any itemslot is very valuable. Also spell daggers are usually used for high clear speed builds due to the usage of shield charge and not because of the crit implicit. Therefor always look for attack speed as well for daggers. Other than that, well done!

      Dagger and shield charge? U clearly dont know what you are talking about. If u are building a crit spellcaster, crit dagger is a must. Also u can use whirling blade when using a dagger
