Linda Hamilton (The Terminator, Children of the Corn, Chuck) is joining the cast of Stranger Things 5. What role will she play? How will she interact with the traumatized denizens of Hawkins? Will she join the fight against Vecna? That, we don’t know quite yet. But we do know that Hamilton is a major fan of the series. Hamilton heading to Hawkins is the first casting dispatch that’s been announced regarding any new key players in Season 5 of Stranger Things.
Back on Stranger Things Day on Nov. 6, 2022, the Duffer brothers revealed the first episode title of Stranger Things 5 - “The Crawl.” As to who’s crawling and where they’re crawling to, we’ll have to wait and see.
But the Duffers are keen to untangle some lingering threads about the Upside Down in the final season. It’s all part of the 25-page mythology document they wrote for Netflix back in Season 1, unpacking the lore and mysteries of the Upside Down. “The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5,” said Ross Duffer during Geeked Week last June. “And that’s really going to affect what Season 5 is about.”

@mollyt1296 honestly I'd like to know what the pay is their striking fir.. because the amount of utter rubbish being churned out these days I don't think half the writers deserve paying. Bat 1 or 2 films and shows the rest should be paying us for having wasted our time
@joevans27 So, I would have agreed with you before I understood the utter insanity that the movie studios are attempting 😬. Basically, they are talking about replacing writers with AI written content, and also using computer generated imagery to basically bring dead actors back, as well as living ones and once they own the rights to these ppls photograph n voice could potentially use their image and voice to make projects without the actual human being involved. This would mean that actors would not get paid residuals, nor would they get paid for anything really beyond an initial licensing fee. Some are even asserting they wouldn't need licensing fees if these actors had already featured in films owned by these studios. Apparently A24 is one of the only studios who is completely on the side of the WGA n SAG in this whole thing and thus have been allowed to continue operating as usual. I think the very idea is horrendous.. To use CGI to create avatars of these actors, both dead n alive, esp without permission or due compensation, is not ok in the slightest. If I didn't know they were capable of this kinda shit I'd call it science fiction, but sadly it's not.
