    That bottom right screw is a captive screw that's meant to stay in. It lifts up the bottom to allow you to open it. they also put a 512GB SSD in it for the same reason most Gaming Laptops still come with 8GB Single Channel RAM. To keep costs down.

      @@deuceex1492 That's because DDR4 RAM is for a dead platform. Intel and AMD now sell laptops with the latest hardware, which means DDR5 RAM, and that is still expensive. Last I check, a 32GB kit is near £100

    • @TheHarsh1310
      @TheHarsh1310 Před rokem

      Thermal pads are only useful if they help the ssd come in contact with a metal surface (like heatpipe) to conduct the heat away. You dont usually see laptops have cooling provided for ssds and they are just passively cooled. So adding thermal pads, which dont conduct heat away from the ssd, will be useless.

      Should be specified on the tech sheet site of your model, you could use cmd commands to check how much the motherboard can handle, see online what other people have done (risky) or just email the company which will respond in like 2 days or so

      Laptops only have 2 ram slots. If you are buying the 16 gb one, it will most probably come with both slots filled with 8gb ram sticks (total 16 gb). If you want to have 32 gb ram, you need to buy 2 ram sticks of 16 gb each.
