@@maplematoke I agree. I remembered back in the early 2000s, I was sad 90s nostalgia wasn't getting any attention but 80s were. Then by the end of the 2000s or beginning of the 2010s, 90s nostalgia became a thing. Today, 2000s nostalgia seems to be a thing. We've just reached the 4th year of this decade and there's still a lot more to come. I'm sure there's going to be technology advancements soon in this decade.
Class of 2015. watching this video has opened a lot of memories that have been buried since my secondary school days... It was a much simpler time back then for me. We would start school at 8.45am and then finish at 2.55, I had to walk home with my friends which took an hour from the school because my house was on the very edge of town. I would stay at my dads, nan and grandad's house every Friday after school with my brother. At school I remember me and my friends always sitting in the library every lunch time (only finally leaving the library in Year 11 because my year group could use one of the blocks to socialize). more memories I remember are the various sports days, they could happen on a Friday and it would be a half day so I got to go home early. In 2013 I asked someone out but I got rejected. I was dumb because she clearly wanted to be friends but I didn't talk to her for 2 years until 2015 just before we all left. I regret not making more friends. I used to always wait for my friends outside their classrooms at the end of the day so we could walk home together. Funny how I didn't worry at all and didn't stress about anything when I was at school but now in 2024 I am a worrier.
I'm class of 2020. I'm still bitter to this day abt never having a regular graduation. I also miss a lot pre-COVID. I literally find myself having dreams of being back in high school again.
