Question, I'm doing a custom bike, trike actually. It's running a 1kw single phase motor, but the controller, like most runs 2 phase(3 wire), how do I convert the power to run the motor? should I be looking for a vfd? a phase converter? or a bridge rectifier of some kind? I can bypass the hall effect and just run a variable resistor on the throttle, no problem there, I just need to convert 2 phase to single phase power. Any suggestions?
