@@lawrence1md Wish i was there with you ans sharing a Flattop experience together, I now have about 4 inches of the old 1970's mop top, i miss the feeling of a good stubble head and the feeling of the warm clippers . Along with the clumps of haircut falling on me. HOT !!!!
I agree in a day my hair especially grows fast you don't see a difference I even most time just cut clear up don't worry about the fade. It fades in in a couple days.

I have a set of oster 76 clippers, and a few blades. so I have purchased the blades that you are using and will attempt to give myself a flattop this week. wish me luck. I have cut mine in the past, but this time I am going to really try to persue it. thanks again for the demonstration.
You can do it. The biggest challenge for me in the beginning was the mirror and learning the direction to move my hand vs what I see. Let me know how it goes

@@lawrence1md I charged mine up months ago and it's still going on that charge. 6 or so haircuts so far so I satisfied with it. But it is basically a beard trimmer with three different heads and a nose hair cutter. Has more combs than I ever use.
I would have loved to have been there and have you give me an extreme flattop, and no hair up the back and sides. The blade your using on the back and sides,is the one I would like to have you use on the back and sides of my head, and all the way up to the poridal ridge all the way around my head from side to side. I wouldn't matter what blade you used for the top, I would just want it cut very short.
Mentioned it before but i pitched by corded clipper got cordless. And charging is mo issue for me have done several cuts since ive charged it its been over a year since i charged it. Probably do couple times a month trimming. Never take more than 15 minutes and most of that is searching for right comb attachments

You could do a horseshoe flat with no problems, I just wished I still had enough on top to wear one!! I loved cuttin it!!

I prefer slightu rounded edges on top so i use the angle blending combs for each side seems to work for me real well.
I enjoy the squared off edges

First thing ive learned if your buying from scratch get a cordless cutter much more simpler on the tangle part

My biggest issue is holding cutter at right angle when doing the back the change in positions screws my eqilibrium up or something like that.
After a while it becomes natural. I’ve been cutting my hair for 20 plus years. Doesn’t seem that long
Doing the back top part is always my worst or cowlick area. Experimenting to find right comb to do it.
I use this comb:

Referring to comb on the clipper. Don't want to mess around with a hand comb
