Great Shave Matthew, just shaved with Atomic Pumpkin the other day. This one is next up for me. Interesting razor. Pretty sure I tried that razor before that a friend sent to me. I remember the magnetic top cap

I do remember when that razor got super popular and I did think about picking one up. I didn't and I think the original company that made them has disappeared, but perhaps another company has picked up the design. This same thing has happened with a shavette that I was trying to track down and I've seen a few other razors too. You might be able to replace the spring inside to fix that issue, like some of the other adjustable razors that have come out. Looks like it shaved great though. Take care!

I picked up that razor a few years ago and is still in my rotation. I'm in the same boat where I shave around 4-5. Same gap issue but I can push the top cap over to even it out. Might try a better spring one day

All the Chinese "Futur" style clone I've tried had the plate misalignment issue, didn't enjoy the weight nor bulky head, so I moved on but it did help me decide not to go for a real Futur, at the time I was more into adjustables now I'm not.👌🤠👌

Nice Sunday shave. Fortunately, I'm not into the "buy and try" phase. The only soap/splash I really want to get right now is Stirling's British Leather. No leaves are falling here. Temps do look to be moderating this week. From the low 90s to around 80 will be a welcome change! Enjoy your Labor Day weekend.

Nice, I'll have to check out this scent again. I got a sample a while back, but I don't remember the scent very well and maybe it's one I should have got the soap for. Awesome razor and I love how thin the head is. I've only heard great things about how this razor works and looks. Have a great extended weekend!

I know there for awhile everybody was ranting about how great that stuff was, but I was too afraid it would be similar to "Harvest Moon" which is the one PAA scent I can't stand as it smells like rotted pumpkin to me.

Nice razor shave-off, I've actually have the older big head Shield Avenger AC (Ti, picked at half price sale) and find it quite aggressive unless I shave close to riding the cap, I believe the new skinny head design feels a bit milder. I do get on well with Yaqi AC Stainless Steel Romulus though, never tried a Vector a bit out of my price range. 👌🤠👌

Just don't keep soap in the copper bowl, because it will turn green.

AC razor are like a bat wing bush hog, slow down or your gonna shear the pin, or the skin 😂. Another good razor review.

Great video! I've really been enjoying the Shield. I haven't tried many blades with it yet, just a Kai and Schick. I got the brass because I heard conflicting things about which materials took which blades, and someone said the brass takes everything. It shaves excellent.

Another nice comparison shave. If the shaves are the same, I'd go with the razor that costs one-tenth of the other. Thanks to Rabbit Hole Anonymous I have been cured of the urge to buy another safety razor. Now watch me fall off the wagon 😉

My Alpha Spirit AC Razor inches out my Shield SS 315 AC Razor by a hair. (See what I did there?)

Nice showdown! I do have several Shield razors and they're fairly mild feeling, but pretty efficient. I'd say that kind of a signature of his razors and it does make them good for daily use. I don't think you could go wrong with either and it just depends on your preferences. I would like to try out one of Shield's more efficient razors as I do like more blade feel than the ones I have right now, but I think those are only available in the DE. Have a great one!

I'm a bay rum fan and I have been loving the Bay Gum, which I picked up almost all of the products it's offered in. Hahaha! Love the knurling on that handle. Mash ups are fun, I just combined a few of my menthol “fixin” to be tub kills. Thats awesome that PAA does mashups.

I have a sample of this scent. I happen to like it.😊 The smell takes me back to being on a cruise ship. Unfortunately, my wife yelled at me today since I put it on after shaving with an unscented soap, "What the heck are you wearing? It's giving me a headache." Oh, the joys of having a wife that doesn't tolerate most scents.

Never corked a blade. I feel if it’s too sharp for you then it’s the wrong blade. Also I don’t do well with voskhod either.
