I thought what made black forest cockoo clocks, were that they were completely hand carved and made.
Thats what made them so precious to me. To see them made in production and lazer cutters. Really takes away for me.

It also would make them even more expensive. There is still a lot of craftsmanship in each clock.
If cuckoo clocks were made entirely by hand, only "ten" millionaires on the planet would be able to buy them.
Not everyone can afford 2 to 3 thousand on a clock.

I bought it online from Black Forrest.
They are 8 days if you hang them over 9 feet so the weights will last 8 days before they touch the floor. The chains are 8 ft 5" to the bottom of the clock therefore the clock would have to be hung at least 9 feet and 8" for it to last 8 days. Or you can hang it at any height and wind it twice a week
