How bout we allow all those facing homelessness to live in these homes legally and put effort into renovating these homes with money from grant programs. Lift people up and they will take pride in what they are given. In Cortland, I recently saw there are 1700 vacant homes…we have 200+ without housing….we need to not let these homes dilapidate, keeping first responders safe but also allowing those in need of shelter a place to exist.
