What was your favourite element from the Fallout games which was captured in the Fallout series? 🤔

I mostly just see Fallout New Vegas fans in a uproar over the show over connection with Canon. I myself have only ever played Fallout 3,Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 but I'm familiar with the storyline of New Vegas however I very much welcomed the Fallout TV Series and enjoyed the perspective of the 3 main protagonist in the wasteland looking forward to Season 2

Ignore them. New Vegas is the best in the series, in my opinion at least, but NV fans can be unbearable.
There is nothing that makes NV non-canon at this time.

@@Memoquin Not the entirety, but there is the question as to why New Vegas' Lights are gone and the city looks dark.

@@starkiller008 If you mean the end credits, I’m not sure if that’s accurate as to how NV looks with what appears to be the remnants of a huge battle, or that’s just a stylistic choice. Every episode ends with a similarly styled credit sequence but none of the others have been hinting at anything directly

@@Memoquin No, I'm talking about the cinematic shot, not the stylish animated parts.

@@starkiller008 I see. It could got any way. I like the idea of an independent Vegas being an constant target, and the Courier being pretty unhinged to have claimed it for himself in the first place. It never did have its lights on during the day and I don’t think there’s much to do on about it being occupied or abandoned based on that shot alone.

But when maximus takes his helmet off, nobody complains about that?

We already see him without it though, he starts off as aspirant rank and you have to become a knight to get power armour. I guess you haven't seen the show then. They show why he ends up with power armour.
If you're comparing to Halo. These aren't the same, Master Chief is known for wearing his helmet in the games. People liked that about Halo games.
