Andy Marlowe needs a punch in the stomach for some of the scripts he ok'ed for Season 5. Rick has always been there for Kate and she pulls this stunt. He left her (2x24) because she threw Demming in his face, told him they were over in (3x24), then Rick finally gave up on her in (4x24) when she was determined to get herself killed. She almost falls off a roof, gets put on Ad Leave, quits her job and looses Castle all in one day. Then she comes crawling back to him, starts a relationship and pulls this nonsense. She needs to go back and talk to that psychologist again. Rick never looked at another woman when he and Beckett finally hooked up. Shame on you, Kate!! You never showed any interest in Castle's million but along comes a billionaire and you are suddenly intrigued. Not nice!!
Very gud analyais.actually beckett is always selfish one in caskett pair. -If she wants to solve her mother case she ll leave castle -If she wants to solve loksat(none of her business actually)she ll leave castle. -If she wants to go to FBI, she all never ask castle and ready get breakup with him. -her behavior with demming infront of castle -kisses iaon gruffud. She didnt deserve castle actually....
How can they go through what they did in "Still" and still have doubts in their relationship! This episode was so strange. Both Castle and Beckett were out of character as f*ck..
this episode was really messed up. id agree with castle for not trusting beckett. especially with all the other selfish acts she's done before they were together really makes this one not so suprising. the fact that she lied about him kissing her and saying he stumbled??? what the hell beckett. if only Castle were to find that particular moment through video footage or something, that way he could see what happened because he shouldn't have let beckett off the hook like that...
Andrew Marlowe said in an interview (about Beckett spending the evening in a hotel with Vaughn) something like... I think we all know what she would have done if she'd been single. I'm sorry, what! When did she become an unprofessional, star-struck bimbo who'd have a one night stand with a guy just because he's famous and paid her a compliment?
Beckett got an easy pass again. She saw the kiss coming, she closed her eyes and pushed him after Eric's lips touched hers. So clearly a part of her wanted to be kissed by Eric. I don't know if this was done on purpose to add drama. I would've let it slide if Eric's kiss came out of the blue and surprised her, which it didn't.
Up until that kiss this entire episode was out of character and I'll explain why. From the start it was painfully obvious what the writers were trying to do with Beckett's character. The fight with Castle and then setting her up with that charming lady killer. From a writer stand point they were moving mountains and ignoring volumes of security procedures. Unless it isn't possible you always have two guys with a potential victim or witness. You don't put them up in a penthouse and a bottle of champagne. Or if you do then you certainly don't leave the blinds wide open. If I was Castle I wouldn't be pissed that he made a move on her I'd be pissed that she almost got killed because of how they set it up in such a way that had the Department and Kate neglected real protection work. As for the kiss? If the writers needed to break that much police protocol, that much Castle canon, and create a guest character that was essentially a James Bond smooth talker just so Beckett would let her guard down for one moment? I think Castle should feel more than secure in his relationship with her. That is until she gets a once in a life time job offer in DC. See her considering taking that, that would make sense.
This episode pissed me off. The guy kept hitting on Kate, and she never shut it down, which was the first red flag. He personally requested her, and she put no boundaries between them while she was guarding him. It was obvious he didn’t request her because she was capable, it was just so he could get close to her, and make moves on her. The fact that he kissed her knowing she was in a relationship, says a lot about the kind of guy he is. A red flag. I don’t even know how Kate is doubting her relationship with Castle. It’s been like 5 years at this point, most of which her and Castle still weren’t together, yet he was still around just so he could be close to her. At this point Castle should have dumped Becket and left. I can already tell they will break up. They haven’t even been dating that long, and she already wants a ring? I’m confused. A ring is not what makes a relationship serious. At this point, Becket is the problem in their relationship. When Castle was trying to move on in season 3 or 4, she was acting like it was his fault she never told him how she felt, because she didn’t think he could change, which made no sense because the conversation was about wether someone else thought that some other guy could change, and they answered “people liked that never change.” This episode the guy was hitting on her non stop, and she turned the table on Castle accusing him of not trusting her? Give me a break.
That was really funny of Ryan saying "I think I have all I need here".

She let him kiss her......there's a Difference it proves that he was right to about her , she kept lying until she was forced.....
