    can you thin down alfresco paint if its become a little thick

      What i do is put a couple of tablespoons of hot water right in the middle of the paint, let it settle for a couple of minutes and then stir.
      If i cannot do that due to location or lack of hot water, i spray some water in the paint and then use the brush like a knife picking up butter 😊. I hope i am being understood. 🤗

    I want to paint my outdoor wicker furniture with Frenchic paint using a paint sprayer. I understand the paint is quite thick. Should I dilute the paint and what ratio should I use? Thanks

      For outside furniture it would be from the Al Fresco range. Depending on your spray gun you use you can either just use the paint as is, as not the usual thick chalk paint, or ratio 5:1, 5 being paint of course. Cheers!!

    Hello there. I'm thinking of painting my kitchen and you mentioned curing, how long do you leave to cure? Di6es this mean they cannot be touch, put back together?
    I'll look forward to hearing from you.
    🙂

      Hi hello.
      So curing time is the time the water takes to evaporate from the paint. But you can use it or put it back together, obviously taking extra care. The period is between 2 to 3 weeks.

    Which paint would be best for metal furniture please?

    • @RescoliByCarlo
      @RescoliByCarlo  Před 3 lety

      You can use Al Fresco on metal. If you prefer a colour from the Lazy range ideally you seal with finishing coat afterwards for extra protection.

      @@RescoliByCarlo many thanks for your quick response :) I was going to go for a Black Jack from the Al Fresco range for a metal kitchen cabinet. I assume I don’t need a base or top coat for that?
      The cabinet is brand new - do I have to sand it before applying paint?

    • @RescoliByCarlo
      @RescoliByCarlo  Před 3 lety +1

      No base coat or sealer for that. I would just sand lightly if the metal looks shiny at present. Then paint away. Enjoy painting!

      @@RescoliByCarlo thanks so much! Sorry, last question - what would you recommend painting with? I am worried about visible brush strokes .

    • @RescoliByCarlo
      @RescoliByCarlo  Před 3 lety +1

      You can use a roller if you wish. But if you wish to use a brush just do so with a couple of light coats and the brush marks won't show 😊.

    Is it possible to paint an outside rug with Frenchic Al-frenchic ?

    • @RescoliByCarlo
      @RescoliByCarlo  Před 4 lety

      The paint is tailor made for furniture and apertures. So I wouldn't recomment painting an outside rug as it might not adhere properly.
