    Frenchic has three lines of paints: Original has to be waxed or varnished , Lazy Range and Al Fresco has a built in sealer in it. Frenchic also has a genious product Finishing coat which can be used as a primer or a sealer , but it can be used as a metallic paint after putting the Frensheen metal powder in it. he powders can be used to make a metal wax when mixed with the waxes. And NO , I am not selling the paint , but I love to use it .

    Hi Becky. Looks beautiful I have paint lots of furniture with chalk paint and one I used I always had to water it down it was so hard to paint otherwise . Im going to buy the paint you used ! Did you know if you use clear was then put dark wax over the top it gives it a vintage look the clear wax makes it easy to move the dark wax around . My home is full of shabby chic furniture I just adore it . Thank you for this wonderful video ... I have been keeping up with watching your videos ❤️ keep them coming x

    • @Beckyscraftsandgoodies
      @Beckyscraftsandgoodies  Před 5 lety +1

      you don't have to water this one down it works lovely, I have another one called fairy chic paint, that works really well too. my next project is using the fairy chic paint x

    • @Beckyscraftsandgoodies
      @Beckyscraftsandgoodies  Před 5 lety

      Erm you could do, I usually use a brush but I bet people do use them, it would give a different finish though :-)

    • @sarasexton2510
      @sarasexton2510 Před 5 lety

      I believe you are right it would have a different texture. It would lose that shabby chic look.

    What's your opinion on the frenchchic lazy range?, I've used it for the first time today and I think its rubbish, I haven't used the other one yet, it's supposed to be self leveling but nah it's not, I'm getting lots of brushlines, I just wondered if I was doing something wrong, I'm using the correct brushes and doing the necessary prep work.

    • @Beckyscraftsandgoodies
      @Beckyscraftsandgoodies  Před 3 lety

      Hi, I haven't used it Kev, I like the normal frenchic but not tried that one, maybe contact them directly and ask for some advice, they should have a better idea than me. Thanks for watching

  • @helensmith8608
    @helensmith8608 Před 5 lety

    Hi Becky love the dresser. Can you only use that finishing coat for decoupage or if you use that all over do you then use the wax. Also can you put the wax over the finished decoupage. Sorry to be a pain but really want to paint some furniture. Thanks for your help

    • @Beckyscraftsandgoodies
      @Beckyscraftsandgoodies  Před 5 lety

      Hi Helen you use one or the other, so if you use the wax you don't need the finishing coat and vice versa. if you wax over decoupage, it may yellow the tone a bit so maybe just best to use modpodge or a different sealer like the finishing coat for that part. the wax is easy to apply with the brush. x

    Thank you for this Becky.

    It's really lovely. Does the paint beat Annie Sloan? Yes think I'll buy a brush for waxing. It kills my arm rubbing with a cloth. Are you keeping it or selling? Xx
