which is accurate (blue eye samurai is alternate History anyways because Japan never had Itoh Shoguns at this time the Tokugawa ruled already over 40 years or more) but they invited one samurai over to england back then and they got stunned by his manners and that he never touched food with his hans etc xD@@uberlags7022

@@sonofromel I am no expert, but my recall (from back in the day) was what was innovative about Metallica at the time was that they did a ton of down picking which led to their signature sound. I might be wrong tho, so would love to TIL.

Episode 6!!! Killer soundtrack for the killer Blue Eye Samurai Mizu.
Literally came out of left field. Best anime Netflix ever picked up.
It teased at the opening, and then I was heart broken by the tease, and then hoped it would come. And then the scene happened and I got the chills.
We need so many seasons of this show, NETFLIX PLEASE
i think is max 3 season, Mizu revenge is only 4 guys, she got 1 but we didnt see it,, then got another one and now shes going to London for the other 2.

no, we don't need many seasons, we need just enough to finish the story. they need to stop milking shows for so long that they lose themselves into trash.
I'm hoping we don't see more than a second season.
Season 1 had 8 episodes to build up the character, tell the story, understand motivations, develop relationships and allow Mizu to teeter the line between abandoning her revenge for the people around her and fall fully into her hate.
At the end she has decided to follow the path of revenge - season 2 may see her come to regret it, or see her struggle with it more... but honestly, Season 1 is so great because it does all the things it needed to do.
Season 2 will struggle to keep up. A third season would just suffer. The only thing they can do is extend the story, and that doesn't make for good watching.
@@ShardofManus I can imagine 3 neat story arcs to finish her story nicely, but not more than that. specially revenge stories, they can't be too long. I bet next season will focus less on her and will tell the parallel stories of the other characters.

Here we have an excellent show with plot, characters and their development, amazing action scenes, and one helluva killer cover. And the voice cast is top notch too

From what I can glean from my (admittedly intermediate-level) Japanese, this is just some good translation work. It captures the meaning of the original almost line-for-line while still keeping the meter tight. Instead trying and failing to stick to the original, it uses a slightly different lyrical flow that compliments the music just as well and I'm here for it.

straight up, hearing this shit in the first few moments of episode 6 hyped me uo so fucking hard. It's hard to explain the mix of nostalgia you get from all the shows like dragonball where the concept of having your hero fight through each level of a dungeon is so timeless, and BES def did it awesome. As they say its merely a symptom of bad writing than any inherent hate, at least most of the time
The problem is that a female badass action character tends to only be accepted by certain sorts when she's very well written... while generic-ass male characters get accepted and idolized wholeheartedly even if you couldn't pick them out of a lineup of 6'2" men with short brown hair and stubbly beards. Stop using the best of the best female characters as justification to shit on all the other ones when you refuse to do the same thing for all the men.

Even if you’re an avid anime watcher/ fan you can grasp some of the Japanese words which have been translated exactly this shows how deeply invested she was in the project 🤘🏻
