Yess and their ways of fighting are each unique and amazing to look at, they all have their own thing going on I love it

@@joshuamohlman Hell yea I liked how Alucard shapeshifted into a wolf and used his magic sword to chop that’s Vamp hand before he could get speared out of the air. So sweet you could tell this is a video game show the action is top notch with great details.

This classic theme perfectly represents their combined efforts, in my opinion

I wish I grew up playing castlevania but I haven’t beaten any only played lord of shadow 1. But I love listening to all the game ost and I love the Netflix adaptation, season 3 was a little off but 9/10 for me overall

That dialogue right there, that’s how the show managed to gracefully pull off the whole “villain wants to destroy humanity out of revenge” in a way which makes perfect sense. It basically done a miracle, but all it had to do was to focus on the characters and actually have people address the antagonist goals from multiple points of views. The fact that “it doesn’t makes logical sense” is not only narratively addressed when focused on the “emotional meaning” but made into a plot point into itself. When people say “cliche doesn’t equal bad”, this is immediately where my mind goes.

The show’s soundtrack was great! I wish they recreated mire tracks from the games tho.
Well it's also really complicated, some songs are way old and original from the games, sort of newer renditions, but old songs nevertheless, and getting the rights to put them on a ost collectio is complicated by itself. That with not considering that the songs itself are on other OST.
Take Bloody Tears as an example, the song originally is from Castlevania II: Simon's Quest, a game from 1987

Since Netflix didn't see fit to release the Season 2 soundtrack for... whatever reason, this is the closest I've heard to the actual Bloody Tears version from the show that wasn't just a rip from the show with an attempt to strip out voices/FX. Thank you, this will be going into my workout rotation!

Also, I would like to note that, in the scene this is taken from, _everyone_ shone. As I put it on a video of the fight scenes:
- Most Minion Kills: Alucard
- Most Boss Kills: Sypha
- Most Assists: Trevor Belmont
It not only shows their teamwork's strength _and_ their individual strength, but the sheer growth that every single one of them has gone through up until that point. Trevor learning to trust and grow up, Alucard learning to trust and not stand alone, and Sypha learning to use her incredible gifts with a brilliance most of us would never have considered. Like, the ice into a long wall-blade, which she then rises up while her foe is approaching her from atop it? That's GENIUS.
She also, of course, learns to trust the two hotheads to not kill each other :P

@@martinolsen660 definitely. To be honest I loved everything about S4 except death casually swearing. It seemed a bit... meh. But then, at least dracula and lisa had the happy ending, so it was all good

I wasn't a big fan of Trevor surviving either but all in all I thought the last 2 episodes were extremely epic and beautiful.
I also wrote my original comment still somewhat soon after experiencing the trainwreck of the Game of thrones ending - so maybe a 'really good ending' felt like a 'damn near perfect' ending in the heat of the moment xP

One of my favorite things about this show is that it doesn't treat the audience like children, there's nobody watching on the sidelines mid-battle explaining everything that goes on, Hell, most major fights have little dialogue at all. Just clean, visceral action.
