Your argument is so stupid mate! You have to experience the league and go to games, before criticising it! Thats like me saying a film I didn't see was shite! 6000+ Cork people go out to see their local team Friday gone, surely it justifies it being better than "shite"
But LOI can't be expected to keep up with other leagues when people don't go and support it! Even with 4 million people in Ireland should make you understand that you need to lower your expectations of the League! I know many people who don't have a local LOI but still go to as many games as possible! I do it as much as I can too! I'm from Tipp, live in Limerick and i'm a student but I have made it to 2 Rovers games this year! Its too much of an excuse these days to be fair! But I know myself its not the best myself but theres nothing like going to games and having that feeling of supporting a local/domestic team, jobs, and community!
I can understand calling it poor but you cannot say that when Number 1 you haven't been, simple as! I have been to many matches now, watch it whenever its on and gone to games where my own team hasn't been playing! I think the league is good and under rated! Calling it shite without going to one game because the best players go to better teams and leagues is still very narrow minded! They must have had some very good years before going and been quality! Would you call those players shite while they were in the League and then the next day travel across and make a move to a better club? I don't think thats fair either!
