Sinc Y Giedd.

Sinc Y Giedd is located on the Black Mountains part of the Brecon Beacons.
The Afon Giedd drains into the limestone and emerges in Dan Yr Ogof Caves.
The river bed was dry on the day we went.

The river splits when it goes underground.some of it comes out at Dan yr ogof,while the rest comes out a couple of hundred meters to the left of the sinc,forming the giedd river which goes down to the river tawe through cwmgiedd village
