I tried to get up there a few weeks ago but i took a wrong turn and the weather decided to get bad so i had to camp about two thirds of the way up. Fairplay to you man. Was hard work for me and im 23
Hi thanks for watching and commenting, it was hard work and as you will already know there are no paths, map and compass kept me on track. The Rhinogs is similar but even more remote, I have a video of that on my Chanel if you want to take a look. Cheers Gabby
Oh man🤯 What a spot. Gabby that was amazing. What a spot that is. Can't believe it, you had your little island. Amazing seeing the fox. Shame people are cutting off the live tree🤦🏻 I really want to camp there. How long does it take to reach it from the road? Brilliantl video, loved the drone shots too. Must have been so happy reaching the lake after the climb. Great vid. Keep them coming.👋
Hi mate! My Mrs is not a great climber, but I booked a train to the summit for my birthday and she agreed to walk down the lamberis path so I decided to take her for her first wild camp and this spot would really make her happy. Is it easy enough to climb down from there and walk back to lamberis do you know? 15kg is hard work mate as well, well done!
Hi mate, its not accessible from the Llanberis path, you have to tackle it from Cwm Glas Mawr, which starts from the road side at Llanberis Pass, it's a very steep climb and good navigation is needed.
Beautiful spot, great video thank you
Hi Keith I'm pleased that you enjoyed the video, thanks for comment etc makes making the vids worth while. Gabby
Lovely stuff. I had a fantastic bivvy camp there myself last summer and no doubt I'll go back someday. All the best.
Thanks yes it's something special up there, ive noticed you have vids up also , I'll take a look , cheers.
Yet to do my first wild camp but this spot is definitely on my bucket list , stunning!
Hi Glyn thanks for watching , I appreciate it, good luck with your wild camp, you will love it. Gabby
Great video, I camped at that spot for the first time about a year ago and it's probably one of my favourites of all time.
Hi thanks for comment. I agree one of the most scenic camps I've done. cheers Gabby.
