  • The fight starts with a breakbar and 10 stacks of Dagda's Demonic Aura buff which decreases the damage she takes by 10% per stack. Walking through one of the white circles grants a player a special action key (SAK) that lasts roughly 10 seconds and can be used to remove 5 stacks. Once all stacks are removed, Dagda will gain them again after 20 seconds. She will also gain stacks when players stand in her Soul Feasts. A Boon DPS and DPS player are assigned to taking care of this mechanic.
    Since Dagda starts every phase with those 10 stacks, I delay my opening rotation until the SAK circles spawn. Apart from at the start, I still did not drop my boon (here: quickness) on my subgroup thanks to overstacking it during the add phases.
    Chrono applies its boon only in a 360 radius. This is why I try to delay my boon applications when I get one of the big circles (see 1:09) or try to be quite close when running around in circles with Soul Feasts (see 2:33).
    The target of the green arrow mechanic has to move behind the stack and a minimum of 5 players (or player pets) are needed in between the player and Dagda, else the target dies.
    There are 2 ways to handle the numbers mechanic. The proper way is to split up around Dagda so that every number only gets hit once. However, you can also just stand inside of Dagda's hitbox and ignore the numbers that way (see 1:46, 4:37, 6:20). Don't forget to move out of Dagda right after if you're not tank though!
    While it is not strictly necessary to have a dedicated tank for Dagda, facing her away from the group drastically decreases the damage the group takes. Dagda focuses on the target (player or player pet) closest to her, which means that it is necessary for everyone else to stay at max melee range while the tank stands inside of Dagda's hitbox. Since player pets can also be focused, Rangers shouldn't bring the Rock Gazelle pet as due to its passive skill it will end up in the middle of Dagda's hitbox. An example of the sheer amount of damage the group can take when Dagda is not faced away can be seen at 0:40.
    Starting at the 2nd phase, Dagda will begin to spawn green circles. They can and should be stacked (see 2:15, 3:05, 3:51, 5:33).
    Every 25% phase, an add phase starts. I dodge the pizza while being pushed away and then make sure to only cast new illusions on adds that are close as to not distract the adds and therefore don't keep them in the center AoE. However, as Chrono it is also important to immediately shatter any remaining clones on Dagda for the same reason as well.
    When a player collects too many Residual Anxiety stacks (mainly gained from standing in Soul Feasts) and turns hostile, they can either be killed and revived (see 3:10, 3:16, 4:10) or simply hard cc'd.
    Starting at the 3rd phase, Dagda needs to be cc'd again shortly after she covers half of the arena in an AoE (see 4:18, 6:00). Make sure not to stand in this AoE as it hits pretty hard.
