I have both and they are amazing! I honestly can’t choose one over the other. They have a yin and yang relationship that complement the idea of keeping both in my bag. They are my new number 1 and 2, beating out my LBJ 20’s & NXXT Gens. Didn’t think that would happen, but SPO absolutely killed it with these two. Traction, cushion, support, durability, and weight are goated fr.
In what situations do you favor 1 over the other? I'm thinking of getting the Player Plus when the new Halloween colorway drops..
@@kuyacruzraps If I feel like playing quick and shifty (usually when I need to play PG) I usually go for the Player1 Plus. If I need to play a lot more of an inside game (slashing, rebounds, taller player defending) I would choose the Game1. Crazy thing is, both can do each well, but the Game1 has an edge with the support and durability, while the Player1 Plus gives a more free and shifty feel. They’re both lightweight but the weight is distributed differently. The uppers in the Player1 Plus feel lighter than the Game1, which makes me feel more comfortable to do sharp changes in direction. The Game1 has a more snug 1-to-1 fit, which lets me know that you won’t have to worry about rolled ankles, nasty heel or forefoot impacts, or foot movement within the shoe.
Like I said, it’s hard to choose one over the other, but hopefully that answers your question. I ball often so I’ve had a lot of time to analyze.

Had a few issues with the game 1 but think there getting fixed and I loveeeee the one plus
Which one is wider? I have the player 1 and stated getting some rubbing on my pinky toe. Do you think the game 1 is better for a wide foot?
I love my Game1 in the Lavander colorway. I'm still trying to figure out how to prevent heel slippage without it squeezing my ankle. The arch is killing my flat feet, but I can feel the drop in sole (I'm using the support one) slowly molding to me.. each day it's causing less discomfort and maaaaan... I've never felt such support while being able to move so fast. Once I get the Support Sole feeling good, I'll break in the Quick Drop In.
For heel slippage you got a lot of different options with the top 3 eyelets on the ankle. It’s best to utilize the one closest to the back of the shoe And then the top. Another thing though is the padding. The cushion somewhat molds to your foot and stops slipping after while.

Ok, my drop in now feels amazing and same with padding in achilles.. this is my favorite hoop shoe to play in ever!
The stability in this shoe for being so light is insane! Fits my game style perfectly!
@@kuyacruzraps Yeah these are definitely my number ones now too. The Player1 Plus is a close second. Just got the lacing right for the P1P’s and they are flawless now.
Any chance of trying Way of Wade ultra or All city 11 v2
i have the all city 11 v2 and the traction is only good on clean courts and i had to consistently wipe every now and then so i’d say it’s up to you atp

I have, and I have the Game1... Both are my new go-to's... I'm still breaking in the Game1 and figuring out the correct lacing but maaaaan, i feel so stable but fast in these. TWO WXY v4 fits more comfortably for me since I could order them in 2E Width.. An overall good shoe as well.
