Bro, thanks for talking about heel slippage! it's rare for youtubers to talk about sizing and heel slippage. They just talk about sizing up or down but do NOT factor how sizing up can cause heel slippage. Heel slippage is a big thing! even a minor heel slippage can affect how you walk comfortably. You earned a subscriber in me for that alone. Please keep it real forever with any shoe brand.

Game 1 will be going through the same journey as Player1 with adapted versions that fit one type of player or the other. I’ve been using the Support system, but today tried strength and that was a great balance in my Game 1. I think I favor the Support though for how I play. I experienced heel slippage and the ankle pain from the laces in the beginning, but once I figured out the right lacing, it finally is working great!
I’m a flat foot, wide foot and went 1/2 size up, fitting great.
I did not experience the heel slippage. I did experience the discomfort around the ankle but that went away after the shoe was more broken in.

I experienced both, but finally figured out the lacing to make it work! Not gonna lie though, took me like 2 weeks of experimenting to figure out the lacing that worked best for me
im a fan of low top shoes but as long as a mid top isnt restrictive above the ankle and provides support without restriction thats fine maybe even a hightop shoe if its made right but i prefer low tops. But that said the mid top version of this shoe is low profile but i hear has way better lockdown, no heel slippage, and has a more supportive upper for lateral movements so its a great quick fix for the issues with this shoe for those of you that are turned off by the heel slippage. The midtop version and player one plus both seem great all around and for different reasons. I might get the game one for outdoors and the player one plus for extra shifty indoor gameplay

Will you be tryin out the Mids? Another reviewer out there said the heel slip they experienced in the low went away with the mid....the ankle pain too.

Try some moleskin tape at the collar if it’s giving you blisters. Just put it on your skin and it should prevent blisters. If it’s just tightness maybe avoid the upper eyelets and tie lower. 🤷♂️
I forget which reviewer it was that said it but I heard if you lace the shoe back to the furthest eyelet that it solves the slippage issue
Yeah that’s what I said in the video it helps but doesn’t fix the issue unfortunately
@soledoutreviews it was Chris from weartesters. it's not the top eyelet it's the one directly parallel from the one under the top. in the video you showed the regular way and the other way you tried but you didn't say anything about the eyelet that would be furthest to the left at the 1:41 mark in the video unless that's what you meant but if you try it and it works it would be interesting to get clarification for me and other people who would want to buy them if the heel slippage is fixable. Plus, I'm guessing the shoe minus the heel slippage would totally change the review because like you said a shoe with heel slippage is just a no go, but it'd be nice to know if changing the eyelet to the very back one would change your mind since you have the shoe in hand already. I mean you already put out the video so you can't add an edit but now I'm curious if you meant that specific eyelet or not. At least if you found it worked you could mention it in an upcoming video briefly or something.

Damn that sucks. Well from what i hear the player one plus is overall just a bit better anyways. slightly better traction, more one to one fit, better court feel, etc. Seems like the game one is meant for more impact protection but with changeable drop ins you can really customize for either comfort or for speed and court feel with the player ones plus. Even with the added comfort of the support add in I'm sure the player one plus has a miniscule almost unnoticeable difference in speed and court feel. Step in comfort may be less than the game 1 but currently im still young enough to be more interested in an all around performance shoe and i hear the tractions elite level. Seems like the player one plus is superior all around by just a hair. ive always had mediocre shoes like walmart shoes or just cheap shoes growing up so i cant wait to cop some really good shoes thanks to you and a few other youtube review channels. @@soledoutreviews i finally figured out my size in their player 1 plus. I was considering the Game 1s but was wondering if you went with the same size. based on your review though I'm not sure about the Game 1s now. Most of the other reviews describe them as tank versions of the player 1 plus worth copping.
btw...i see they released the explosive midsole finally. I'm waiting for mine to arrive.
