One point of advice. When you use the maze type, the lanes of the maze need to covered by archers and backup fighters actually in the maze protecting the doors.
and with tar cauldrons to slow the waves down to give the archers a chance to pincushion them
I've seen the design on servers and though I would use it for this. I'll definitely have a more prepared base in the next play through!
