the other chest that needs the colored crystals, is an old jumping puzzle that is still in the game, i think it used to be the only way to get black and white dyes, but that has since then been addressed and you learn them much easier and can just make them on you dying bench. but yes in that cave there are other small chests you have to jump to since you cant climb to them have to jump from point to point while trying to reach them.

with the fragments of power, i always turn all in to the library until i learn the tablet of power. normally if not turning them in for 1 of the 30 recipes 1 fragment gives 10 knowledge points, but with tablet of power it lets you convert 5 fragments into 1 tablet, which when consumed gives 60 knowledge points, so 12 points each. it hurries up learning most if not all knowledge. 30 recipes but you get them in random order, its taken me till the low 20s before i learned tablet before, or my last play thru i learned it on the second try.

i've found when using a good thrall or pet that's always aggroing and focusing enemies on itself, it's a good idea to put 5 points into agility. when you're mostly hitting enemies from behind an extra 15% damage sure adds up and if you're only running with one pet or follower, change your authority attribute from war party to well-trained, will make Holly the huge pussy much more tankier. lol 23:30 you just got smeared into the ground it said wait 7 minutes before rescuing, because you'd just been fighting skeletons. rescuing works usually, have faith, but i dont know what's gonna happen when the follower has been downed. hopes and prayers for Holly the huge pussy. rescuing is great for pets coz they don't have armor to leave behind

If a follower is genuinely scouting (can’t be sure in this case cause it’s some glitch) they will return to wherever they last stood to guard. If that’s home, just wait a while and they’ll come back.

you keep calling it armor, but its just a couple of dish cloths really. you could be wearing real armor with that outfit illusioned over it. or the princess's outfit, maybe ? you ran round the unnamed city, with a couple of Dalinsias you can easily steamroll right thru the middle. great place to farm for legendary weapons and XP for the twins when you start combat your mount will do its best to avoid enemies, it will run away from them. it also has a lot of health and wont die. you don't need to put him on guard. when you put a mount or follower on guard, that is the place it will teleport to next time it gets lost. if that's in the snow somewhere on the edge of the map, it'll stay lost seems like you don't actually have to play the game when the twins are around, you just stand back and let them do it and i reckon you'll get bored. swap one out for the sabertooth maybe, or just have one follower, you'll have to be a lot more hands-on in the fights and you'll have more fun call the sabertooth Holly, after one of my ex's. a vicious bitch with a huge pussy. if no-one else suggests a name, you said you'd use it !

the power of authority, duo-dalinsia is brutal the shadebloom is used to cook food for your baby animals that gives them a higher chance of turning into greater animals. try and get greater sabertooths, they're10x better than basic ones

the lance gives you something to do while travelling but is otherwise pretty lame. means you could have popped those hyenas instead of avoiding them i built my main base just outside Sepamaru, for the thrall spawns. if you like the North, then maybe build near New Asgaroth or whatever its called. nice area at the devils squat. or the volcano, good thralls there too i have a purge base at the eastern barracks in the jungle, can build inside the temple and be protected from the starcaller, awesome way to collect star metal (thanks owdo gaming) dont forget to collect the sabertooth cubs in the dungeon and if you're short of leather skin everything. hope you brought some skeleton keys with you, that rhino tried to give you one on your way past

I also miss being able to gather multiple branches with a hatchet, getting severed limbs to use as weapons, and gathering eggs with a pick. It's so tedious, I only gather as much as I need for mats, if I want glass orbs I just buy the things in the city. It sucks a lot, the grotto gave a lot of xp if you just got off your cross.

fashionist mod, if that's what your using, when you click everything over to hide weapons and tools, make sure to hit save at the bottom before closing otherwise it only works for that session, but if saved should stay until you remake a different character.

debaucheries of derketo is a great dlc, the 2 armor sets are perfect for thralls. even better than the dancers set is the derketo priest set. and speaking of you-tube friendly, don't show the sacrificial stone rituals earning xp for 2 thralls at a time is great and the animals up north are a great source of xp. you're so close to the foals, lol

lightning gaming just released a video showcasing the best (in his opinion) authority build. worth a look. ok, ill shut up about authority now fatalities give you a big instant health boost, plus a long buff to armor i think. also you cant be hit while in the animation, which is OP totally right on focusing on strength, with heavy armor a good dalinsia doesnt need more health time to go get a horse ? i've spent hours in the summoning place trying to find a named yog priest, and never found the skulltaker thing, thanks

yeah when i bother to look on one like your dalinsia i would probably feed gruel for str, since vit is high and everything else is low, i usually default to steaks for vit, but with their growth chance sometimes like in that case just to go for str, or some cases if making one an archer maybe agility. also events like that can pop up a certain areas around the map, there are different ones, some you have to kill so many minions before the summoner guys shield becomes vulnerable to attack, or in that ones case you just have to destroy the pillars and then go after the guy in the shield.

At the Summoning Place you ran into an event. The one you had requires you destroy the four towers so the protective dome over the sorcerer will be destroyed. Then you a small reward.

this event will cycle in and out, so the items and thralls wont always be available, but may as well take advantage of it while its around. looks like you farmed enough for now, but for future info the best spot to farm sorcerers is beside the sinkhole, thugra's rise just north of the caravan has 1 sorcerer, and another 1 sorcerer in the small camp to the south, and if you have a horse with you ride to the southestern camp on the other side of the obelisk, there are 3 sorcerers there, since in single player it resets once far enough away you can either just get the first 1 or kill the first 2 and knock out the third for 2 skull and 1 sorcerer per trip. i also ussually dont take on bosses with thralls till at least at lvl 8-10 probably 10 plus for the scorpion with the poison. for me at least i lik to take them to the southern jungle to lvl, kill apes and gorillas, run up and hit and let the thrall finish the fight as you head to the next group, i can hit lvl 8 with most thralls in about 5 minutes, from there it slows alot, but i might take another round or just head to un namd city and fight skellies or rocknosees maybe in shattered springs, humans dont make for good exp for them

lol i told you about them, but i didnt say getting those thralls was a GOOD idea. yeah, they're stupid OP at this stage of the game. there's a caravan by the sinkhole with 5 or 6 sorcerers close by the brutes are good, but were heavily nerfed recently, their damage multiplier was reduced a lot. dalinsia has the 2nd highest damage multiplier of any thrall in the game, just losing out to the cimmurian berserker. with the right weapon, armor and 20 points in authority your dalinsia will do over 1000 damage per hit the hyperborean slaver set has all strength bonuses, perfect for a new dalinsia, added bonus looks kinda hot too lol 17:30 she's awesome, but she's still only a baby and you said it fine

you made some good choices for this episode. made the dungeon look easy brittle bastard is good for your follower, as it won't break for them. but tessa needs an agility weapon, maybe that katana for her ? since you're liking the pets so much, when you're in the midnight grove, make sure you grab the sabertooth kittens. greater saberteeth are the best pets an army of 4 shalebacks, named after the ninja turtles, maybe call the hyena Splinter ?

Call the greater hyena Boneyard, for taking out those skeletons so well.

yes they just added the down but not out function for thralls like a bit over a week ago i think, same time they added the caravans back, so getting a good thrall should be easy now if you knock out the sorcerers and drag them back you get 50 Obolus each only 5 for skulls, so 4 sorcerers to buy a thrall, you will get either Dalinsia snow hunter, Janos, Varpnir, or Markos Bane of beasts, all fairly high tier thralls, dalinsia is arguably one of the best her or a berserker but those you will have to capture. also yes for skelitons daggers dont bleed so your best off with a mace to sunder their armor. the dregs yes you can beat in your 20s, but have to be very carefull in a couple spots with more skellies, and might have to skip the 3 skull bosses, spider and komodo, but if you can handle the spider it usually drops a good weapon, or can at least.

'down but not out' was introduced last patch, less than 2 weeks ago. best place to get a good thrall is the slave caravan, turn in 4 sorcerers for one named T4 fighter or worker thrall... of the 20 fighters i got (just for testing, of course), 14 of them were dalinsia snowhunter

you gotta respec, put some points into authority, or even at level 20 your thralls will suck. strength OR agility, not both. you dont need all that health if you have a good thrall and semi-good armor. if you put 10 points into authority your thrall will heal. Diedre should have owned those skeletons, authority will make a huge difference. Tessa is bad, as thralls go, didn't start with any str or agility, has no multiplier to increase damage. Feed her gruel to make her level strength faster, with good armor and authority they dont need heaps of health. where she spawned is a guaranteed spawn point for named T1 thralls, collect a whole bunch and find the best one. if you're gonna level a 'alpha' pet do a shaleback first, hyenas are ass. you don't need a tank for the dregs final boss, she just hangs in the middle for a while spitting at you, then when she lays down you can put some bleeds on her. will take a while but is very easy solo thralls gear doesn't lose durability, so nearly broken armor or weapons are fine for them good to see more dodging, i knew if i hassled you enough about it you'd change, lol

You can still 'Mass cull' crystal using Sorcery, otherwise you have to Hand Pick it.

The new no tool crystal harvesting is annoying.

the hardened steel short sword is way better, it's the next tier up. combine it with a shield, if you're not gonna dodge maybe you can block ? turn your night cycle speed up ? recording vids in the dark is bad good vid, loving your upload rate

i bought the "debaucheries of derketo" dlc coz im a perv

FUNCOM nerfed the gathering a while back. It was to correct the use of hatchets to gather multiple branches with on blow. It was set back to one with each press of the "e" key. Alpos many other gathering were set back to one each by hand. It hit a broad spectrum of gathering using tools - some rather stupid as you have seen with the crystal.

yes they changed it, so that tools dont work on crystals. i havent tried or seen anyone try the gather resources spell on it since tho so not sure if that still works or not.

One of those wonderful time-wasting updates from Funcom a while back. No more mining crystal with a mining tool, which of course makes zero sense and is annoying as bleep.

You need to pick the crystal using the E key same as plants.

they changed the crystal harvesting in april, i think to encourage more use of the sorcery. mass cull is great. for me, it just encouraged me to increase my harvest rates if you go to the back of that crystal cave you'll find a guy who can drop a double-sized waterskin, save you carrying the 15 you do. you can also get a gorilla pet from him you gotta spend some points in authority, at least 5, but 20 is better. you wont need heaps of health if your friend is taking all the aggro best armor transmog imo is the derketo religous set... might not be youtube safe tho lol but if you're gonna do any religion it's a great reason to go with derketo. earrings are my go to choice for illusions on the head, your character so pretty you should show her face. i had a lot of trouble getting mod stuff to work in the illusion system collect your journey reward ! perfected steel weapons are better ! you can kill that croc easily, just learn to dodge ! i'm enjoying these vids, but there's a new flash thing the kids are doing these days, called editing, means you an cut out the harvesting and screw-ups, lol

If you’re corrupted very early game and don’t want to convert a dancer yet, you can fairly easily run to Sepermeru and sit by the ones in the tavern.

If you are afraid of your thrall killing the thrall you want to knockout, GIVE THEM A TRUNCHEON!!! Then they cannot kill the one you want and actually will help you knock them out.

You can give tranchen to a friend and he/she will help you get new friend

Actual gazelles do have more inventory space. Stags don’t, presumably as a trade off for being better fighters.

I watch videos where people record everything and ones that are edited, and have no preference. I do generally prefer voice audio as it happens though, reacting as you play. Speaking of, your voice got quieter versus the game sounds after the time jump in this one, so it was a little harder to hear.
