I really relate to not having that connection with my family. I used to try so hard to connect with my brother, but it never felt reciprocated. I gave up on it. Relationships these days feel very artificial thanks to technology and people living so far apart. No one wants to pick up the phone and hear a real person on the other end anymore. It's too much effort, or it takes too much time. I fear that the younger generations will really struggle with connection to others because of our technology fueled life. Sometimes I feel like throwing my phone in the trash lol. I tried to get a simple flip phone to combat the issue, but the reception on it was terrible. Same for a landline. They've really made it where it's almost like you have to have a smartphone just to have a phone that works well. Ugh...I'll get off my soap box now 😂

What you said about not having that connection with your family resonates a lot. Growing up is a lot of internalizing that you don't have to keep repeating the same family patterns if they're toxic, but it's a lot of hard work. If you don't know any different, how can you behave differently? I keep repeating myself "I'm not my parents", and that helps a lot.
I love doing dishes in the morning too. It’s a nice gentle movement in the morning to snowball into productivity.

Hahaah i m a clean up at night kinda person and my husband a clean up in the morning or not at all cause now I clean up. After so many failed relationships on both our parts we found each other 4 years ago and just got married this year in March. we ve also been best friends for the past 7 years. When i stopped looking for better or good and believed i was good enough, timing aligned and the happiest days of my life arrived. Oh my gosh you were reading my mind! I was talking with my dietitian before starting this video and was talking about how I’m not a “I need a clean kitchen to go to sleep” I’m a “I had a great dinner and I want to rest and I’ll get it in the morning” type person and when you said that you are like that too it just really resonated with me! I just feel even more connected to you now!

Hi Julia, i dont know anything about using vinegar with pine needles but in my country people make syrup of pine needles. 😊
put a row of pine needles, a row of sugar in a large jar, close it hermetically and put it on a sunny window for about 40 days and never open it. When 40 days have passed, drain the syrup through thick cheesecloth and when it thickens, consume 2-3 teaspoons a day ( i think u can use it with or without mixing water). I didnt try it but I heard that it is yummy 😊 and it has many vitamin C!

Me and some friends are in the midst of relationship transitions and its so hard not to be attracted to people who will allow you to fulfill your people pleasing desire(or approval seeking behavior) as well as confirm your negative self beliefs. These types of people usually have narcissistic qualities. You really have to change your beliefs about yourself, so you can be attracted to people who will actually be kind and give back as much as you give. But man, getting to that place is haaaarrrrddddd. When you don't like yourself, its hard to be attracted to someone like you (kind, compassionate, etc) so you are attracted to the person attracted to you (because you really want to feel important and chosen) who happens to be selfish and sees you as the perfect person who will give them everything they want without needing anything in return because you're used to not receiving much love in return anyway. Or maybe thats just me lmao. But seems to be a pattern with a lot of people who had traumatic childhoods that had a lot of emotional neglect.
Yes it’s such a pattern!! But I’m so so happy more and more people are waking up to their worth and putting the work in to grow self love, self appreciation and happiness. It’s truly so powerful and important for not only ourselves but for the world! The more people sitting in love within themselves the more kindness and compassion there is in this world💛 I’m sending you so much love on your journey xxx✨
