I love it, the whole animation, the song. Riot really stepped up their game this year.
banger song, but not an anthem, no hype, no energy :/ Would've fit more as something like KD/A or True Damage imo
For me I wasnt intially vibing with the song, but after maybe a 10 or 15 replays I freaking love it man. It has that emotional impact that I wasn't expecting. Easily my favorite worlds song since phoenix and rise. Riot hit it out of the park

You also have to love the visuals because it's always Deft looking up at everyone else as he gets knocked down again and again, as if they're on a higher level and therefore unreachable, but at the end the point of view changes so that you can see the struggle is still there, but Deft overcomes it until finally he's the one whose being looked up upon. The one who finally won, after so many years. It's really beautiful.

Personally its up there just behind legends never die & Rise for top 3 worlds songs. Animation was insane and perfectly illustrated deft's journey, and the song was incredible. I was skeptical about how nwjns would do with this kind of sound but their individual strengths were utilized so well.

@@th6410 Warriors is not even close to top 3. Animation and story was mediocre compared to the last 5-6 years, and the song is nowhere near as good for an anthem.
I'd put warriors closer to worlds collide, ignite & burn it all down.

I've watched this Anthem several times yesterday and today and I still get tears in my eyes everytime I watch it. I think they capture the emotions so well in these animations and they're perfectly in sync with the music.
SAME I had tears ever since I watched it and still do. A lot of people don't understand and see it as "mid tier" or not "hype" song but this isn't the main thing here. It's more deep, and boy does it hit really deep. I'm not even a fan of Deft or whatever btw...

It felt good to hear and made me get pumped. The video really helped as well. The story and animation was perfect. If faker wins this year oh the song next year with this animation its gonna be so fucking good

These worlds themes clips are made for the finest connoisseurs like yamato, man is getting every single ref remembering every match from every year.
I would like to see this trend of Riot honoring the players' stories and the champions they played during the Worlds tournament continue. It's so dang cool!!!!! Especially when you have a story like THIS. "GODS" video was 11/10, NewJeans song was 9/10 for me! An absolute banger, and I cry every time Deft does every single time I watch it. 10/10 overall; they nailed it!
This is the best worlds song yet honestly. The song itself is great, but the story told, the way they framed it with Deft facing all these former teammates of his later on in his career. It's perfect.

Probably its Keria & Faker at the end because of the storylines around that time. Him vs Faker going to the samw school, Keria having promised to win him a worlds titles etc.
Everything is very connected to real life storylines. Previous teammates he beat during the 2022 worlds run and so on.
The first scene is a nod to how he said in an interview that he was slept on at school despite being Challenger, because the rank 1 was in the same school which happened to be Faker.
Finally, a song that actually fits the theme.
this song is like the phoenix song, you need to listen to it few times but it grows on you
The Ga ga ga part of Gods gives me the chills whenever i hear this song. It reminds me of crows in the background which always symbolizes bad luck as well as destiny. And how it was incorporated in this song is nothing short of phenomenal.
Musics and animations are cool. The storyline featured is the best ever
Fun fact : It's the second time Faker's been killed in a cinematic, first is Rise where he got killed by Ambition's Jarvan as Ryze and now getting killed by Deft's Cait as Viktor (It was Aatrox who killed Faker during the backdoor but it doesn't fit with the story so...)

Then on DragonX with Keria vs Canyon and Showmaker (his new teammates)
Then 2022 Worlds against all his former teammates

GenG Doran. They played together in DRX in 2020.
and of cause Keria and Endboss Faker in finals. Would have loved to see a bit more of the champs abilities, but i guess its hard to make adc fights look cool and interesting when other roles have cool abilities and all they do is auto attack.
song itself i'd say is upper middle tier but the visuals are S tier. very solid when combined, I like it that's what worlds song should be like imo 👍

F yes the video starts with a fat W. Rise was peak indeed my god that song and the video smack so hard. The first time you saw Faker walk in as Ryze with the hint at his titles was like god daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn.

Huge fan of the story animation, the animation style in general as well as the overall tone. The song itself is a bit meh but it works well enough.
