Love the content, I'm from the East Cost (Connecticut) and i must say, i don't see to many lifted vans out here... I'm subscribed and watch all your videos, i was wondering why i haven't seen any shuttle busses on your channel... i have a 07 Econoline 450 V10 that I'm going to lift and convert to a home on wheels (Old Church Bus), was thinking about going with the Weldtec but after watching your videos, been leaning towards the Action Van because of price! do you get any referrals if i purchase Action Van in the future or any advice for me... Keep Making Videos, try to find some shuttle busses:)

@@JoseAngel62266 It's funny man I actually filmed a shuttle bus but haven't uploaded it yet. I will my eye out on them now! I didn't think any shuttle bus viewers watched me so now I know. I appreciate the support man!
I don't get any kick backs from Action Van I just give their business a plug because the gentleman who owns Action Van/Full Tilt Off road showed up at one of my lifted Van meets.
This is the only video I inteded to do on Action Van Vs Weldtec
      czcams.com/video/00HT3epqO7k/video.html
Larry from Action Van saw this video, stopped by one of my lifted van meets to thank me for the video and being fair and honest and told me if I still needed a rear locker he wants to help me.
That meant a lot to me that he showed up to my meet and I know he watches my videos because before I got a locker I was always talking about it. Weldtec sort of snubbed me when I got my van lifted with them. Maybe they had a bad day when I was there.
Larry from Action Van really hooked me up with the Locker. He converted my Axle Shafts from 32 to 35 spline so I have more choices of rear locker. 32 has 2 options and 35 has 6 options I really wanted an OX locker.
I've had both AV and WTD lifts and AV is every bit as good and IMO better then WTD at less cost.
So no affiliate link no kick backs I just consider the guy a friend and I put the offer out there for him. If he ever decides he wants to pull the WTD off my van and swap it out for his Ultimate Kit I will put a big Action Van Decal on the side of my van to be an official partner.
Alot of my friends have went with AV because the price gap is what they can afford or want to budget.
At the end of the day I just want to see all my buddies lifted. I always say this to. Nothing Wrong With Weldtec and if I have a friend wanting a WTD I will never talk them out of it.
November Lifted Van meet I really want to get some Action Van Vs Weldtec Vs Ford Parts One Vs U-Joint videos going. All lift kits are represented here and I know people want to see them head to head.

One of the videos I have planned is to interview you once you get lifted and can showcase your lifted van with your light bar and ladder. You have an awesome story man. Sitting on a 4x4 conversion for 4 years then saying F*** it let me join in on the fun already. Saving this topic until I can do it in Weldtec/U-Joint video quality. I want to have their video quality but talk about real life vans! They have the market for the Beauty vans.

Been really busy at my new Job. But I really wanted to get this video out because I'm happy for Matthew and I want to see Ryan be a big part of the Econoline aftermarket. We been friends for a few years now and I'm sure you seen how this hobby is slowly growing. I'll try to upload at least once a week while I'm still establishing myself earning paid leave.
I have a lot of topics to talk about! When Ryan gets his 2wd lift I want to interview him and talk about how he was wanting a 4x4 conversion for 4 years and finally said F it let me just go lifted 2wd and have fun now. Great topic there.
I also predict the Econoline market has tons of room to grow. The Weldtec and U-Joint Customers are modding the left over nice low mileage Econolines and RVs. I have a feeling people are going to pick up the old Econlines as old as 1992 and start building them out and that's were someone like Ryan is a great Alternative to Aluminess. Aluminess Bumpers cost more then most early 90s Econolines!
I wont make those videos until I have a really good Camera.

so i got my v10 extended 15 pass van w/o a working a/c. got it for less than 4k with 113k on the clock. instead of redoing the factory a/c probably going to go mini split lifep04 batteries 2nd alternator and eventually solar. outer unit inside the van in the back in its own little compartment with vents to outside air. will be able to have driving and non driving a/c for the van this way. maybe i will make videos on the build of the cooling unit. theoreticall possible we will see how it goes practically. oem blower fans still work. down the road may rebuild the stock a/c system but if i do this first i get two functions (driving and parked) a/c instead of just getting one (driving a/c). Always make sure your mechanic places the doghouse back properly btw. you may fry your leg if it isn't sealed just right. ask me how i know.

I subscribed! I love the van hobby and wish more of you guys made content. There's lots of people eating breakfast in their vans which is cool but I really want to see more people enthusiastic about the actual vehicle itself.
Keep me updated on your van build. I know one of the reasons you got it is so you can skip hotels because a lot charge a huge extra fee if you have a dog.

@@JohnDrivesAnything Yeah I look at the v10 van as two distinct projects. 1. Engine, chassis, suspension, drivetrain and 2. Whatever one would put inside the van, for amenities. I will do everything for 1. because it looks like the van is built for longevity, so I will keep it that way and 2. be a minimalist inside the van without going crazy insane vanlife loading it up with tons of unecessary heavy stuff. Even though the e350 platform is much beefier than the 150 and e250 vans, it CAN handle probably 3000 pounds inside added and at the same time can tow over 10000 pounds when called for, those vanlifers putting tons of stuff inside the lighter vans, they are going to have problems down the road with all of that weight. What is nice about the e350 larger frame (over the e150 and e250) and engine/trans is that you CAN do pretty much anything with it weight wise, even if you have to add better suspension or beefier tires. Doesnt mean you have to, but I think this van can handle really anything. And you can add stuff as you go along, don't have to buy it all at once.

@@orthopraxis235 Like what we talked about before I wanted the V10 because Im a car enthusiast but I also did all kinds of research on it. I was willing to settle on a 4.6 or 5.4 if the price is right then I saw on the Sportsmobile forums that people with the 5.4 really wish they got they V10 because their builds were near 10,000 pounds and they can barely tow Jet Skis up a grade. The V10 guys were happy . Sportmobiles weighing 10,000 pounds makes sense. A lot are 4x4 conversions extended with built out interiors. I gotta get my van weighed again since its pretty much done. I know I'm comfortable under 7000 pounds. So when I tow my 2500 pound Tracker it's easy work

Full Tilt Off Road/ Action Van Suspension did my re-gear/locker last year. A autolocker with Regear will run around $2500. A Selectable Locker around $4000. Weldtec Quoted me for $4000 for a ARB air Locker in 2021 but I didn't want an Air Locker. I wanted a Eaton E-Locker but went with OX because I like how it's simple and Cable activated.

I wanted the V10 Econoline because it's the peak of Econoline Engines. Ford Never put the Modern pick up Engines in the Econolines. Econolines never got the Coyote 5.0 V8.
Love how there's still new/newer Express vans and they got Modern V8s. They have 400 Horsepower just like the Pick Ups. Econolines only ever got 305 Horsepower.
I have a few GM friends and I hope they show up to the meets in their lifted vans!
