Tom Holland opens up to ‘Entertainment Weekly’ about his latest Apple TV+ mini series, ‘Crowded Room,’ and how the project helped him to recognize his own triggers.
Sober doesn’t mean he had a problem,he was never alcoholic,he was just drinking but decided not to drink anymore. Not a big deal but it was a great decision
Tom and Zendaya both playing rolls that have a deep toll on their mental health must have really strengthened their bond. they're like each other's support system. i think that's really special; and definitely not for the faint of heart.

I takes a lot of strength and bravery to come forward and admit when you're struggling. personally, I've been sober from pain pills for 8 months. I'm proud of Tom and his sobriety.
It’s honestly sad for two reasons that he has had to go through this! one being that he’s so young and has so much of his life ahead of him but it sucks that he ended up in that position. And two that it’s not shocking, coming from young celebrities like him that get the fame that they do specifically because of a franchise, they spiral and end up in a position where they need some sort of substance to get them through life Even though that way ends up backfiring and causes more problems. So here’s hoping that he was able to catch it early enough that he doesn’t end up in a worse position than he did.

It was more about the fact that, in general young celebrities, like him, tend to go down this type of path of drinking Or abusing other substances, and it being something that they kind of wake up from at some point, and realize the affect it has on their life. It’s sad that he needs to get to a point where something like being sober for one year means something that deeply to a person because of How much he drank in the past or how dependent he was on it. Almost like he didn’t have a healthy relationship with alcohol to a point where he needed to take a step back and not just from how much he drank , but whether to drink it all.

I agree that we need to be more focused on mental health but the thing that is sad about that is that in reality people only care about mental health and helping people with mental health issues IF that person fits within the confines of what they can easily deal with.
