Woburn Mountain Bike Park has some insane Freeride MTB lines now, as well as the famous dirt jumps and trails. I rode my slopeduro bike with G Mack and Jamie on their enduro bikes, and hit the epic Freeride line with a brand new shark fin rebuild and sick tricks jumps. Enjoy the carnage and G Mack learning her first mountain bike tricks.

watching this really makes me miss when I used to BMX and you would always get the older guys down the trails that would always take the piss out of you but when they saw you were close to landing or learning something they would give you the odd word of encouragement

Okay this would be INSANE to see. But I think it would be so cool if Ben tailwhip or bar spin the big one right before the shark fin. And for Matt I think that backflip tuck was in there haha. Also a 360 on that jump would be incredible. Love to see the boys progressing. Jamie totally has that jump in the bag he just has to commit

Amazing to see how Woburn has progressed. I used to ride there way back before I moved to Vancouver. I now have all of the North Shore, Squamish, Whistler etc to explore. But there is nowhere with that concentration of jumps in one small area. I still miss Woburn to this day!

Would Jamie benefit from wearing some good protective gear when trying these new jumps, to help with his confidence? I found a back protector and a neck brace helped my confidence no-end on a MX bike.

Damn guys this is inspiring. I used to ride BMX for quite a few years and was always great at Street riding. I could throw a 180 barspin down a 6 stair but I was never great at riding half pipes or dirt jumps. I don't know, something about the transition is weird to me and I much prefer to create my own power and be in charge of the jumping, not the transition. I really wish I could get over that mental hurdle because I'm sure dirt riding is actually easier. The jumps are masterfully designed where if you have the speed to clear one and just commit you'll make it through the rest.
I should really get a mountain bike or dirt jumper and try riding the local trails, there is a ton of great ones around here. You guys make it look so easy.

Well that was fantastic. Ben should be signed up for slopestyle immediately!! As for Jamie it's merely a matter of time. It is mind over matter and as long as Jamie doesn't mind it won't matter. He's done very well he has progressed and is progressing but his mind says I do not want to die! What Jamie needs to know is that he has the skills already he just needs to trust himself. With you at the helm Matt, these guys will be efficient riders. They are on their way. I appreciate the way that you encourage them as opposed to haranguing them. There's too much of that and it doesn't help anybody to be put down in front of other people, it just makes your mind shut down. What we need is a Shazam superhero name for Jamie. What do you think of " The Jamminator " ? So come on Jamie those of us who are couch potatoes are rooting on. You can do it have confidence in yourself You've already done a lot this is just one more little step. Peace

Maybe you should consider taking Jamie and Ben to the places where you competed so they can get an idea on how large of competition tracks that you worked on as compared to what you are asking them to do now. Maybe comparing the two will encourage Jamie or Ben to see that you're not really asking as much of them? Take care of yourself. Peace

You have access to some amazing 360 cameras and I'd love to see you use that more for the chase-cam stuff, and especially the back-cam - that gopro back-cam footage was pretty hard to watch.
