For motocross and bike stuff, I find the best camera placement is on the chin guard; as low as possible to capture the the bike and your hands, but always pointed the same way the rider's head is. Of course, there is a chance that it might get in the way in some cases, but don't they always...

Looks sick, a few of us have booked on there and Winterberg in a couple of weeks. Thought we would try something new rather than go to Morzine every year
Had a shit day, but watching your vlog was good.
I think helmet cam gives good perspective to see the full track up ahead which helps you learn it easier when watching back. Chesty or chin mount is for when you're riding with the lads get to see yourself throw the bike about a bit more. I prefer both for the reasons above. 😅
