There's only one beer left.
The crazy thing even after a half a century this guy still looks cool as hell... People talk about swag well this is original elegant swag
Lol and you obviously have no class
You homophobic pos
Wonder titz pathetic
I couldn't agree more!!!
He was the original gangster so 😂
The way he hangs on a word…on a lyric. It’s fantastic.
It is, but what the heck with that perfume from spain?
@@adrianghilardi4578 Eyewash
😂😂😂
@@adrianghilardi4578 I took it as a reference to Ava Gardner, the actress he had an on/off relationship at the time. She'd often go to Spain.
You could hear jabs every once in a while in his live performances during this era (Ex. Lady is a Tramp | Las Vegas 1961)
Could be pal. I just like the way it smells.😉
Sings so effortlessly and naturally. And while smoking a cigarette. What a treasure he was.
He supplements the lyrics and the sentiment of this song with perfectly synchronized and clearly expressed body language. To do that, not only is a great deal of self-confidence required, but also to be a great showman. Frank was a master of delivery - in every sense.
Very well said
I agree : very well said.
Very very well said
I get a kick every time I perform this song. Frank's phrasing cannot be duplicated.
youschtube what I mean is this... Sinatra died 19 years ago.
I love that...clearing his throat mid song and not missing a beat...lol
He even clears his throat in time. The BEST. There will NEVER be another. I'm so thrilled that I got to see him live four times.
The talent and timing is out of this world 😮!!
*SINATRA'S STILL THE KING*
It's May, 2021...still true🌺
@@miapdx503 yes
Meh.
only he can smoke and sing at the same time! n he made it looked so cool
Dean Martin can too! ;)
They all looked like idiots smoking the way they did in those old movies etc. disgusting bullshit smoking habit I puke when I see people smoke I rather pick up my dogs crap in the back yard than pass on a pack. and this new vaping is so bloody funny. these people blowing out huge masses of smoke thinking they are the shit.
Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Phillip Anselmo all made singing while smoking look so natural you wouldn't think it was unhealthy lol
Frank Scimeca bringing metal in classics, how daring 😳
@@sawdustcaesar6853 shut the fuck up
Class, charisma, and cool factor off the charts. Ol’ Blue Eyes was the epitome of cool.
Last but not least handsome!
He shared the cool factor with Dean Martin, The King of Cool!
He's the KING OF SMOOTH!
EVen when he clears his throat at 1:59 he's STILL cool and have that swag!!
He’s a finger-snapping Mr. Cool Blue. But bubbling through is the real deal: Mr. Red Hot. Note his passion in the amusing ways he plays around with the sound of words. It’s especially clear on “your fabulous face” and on the bridge. Also, the carefree way he flicks at his cigarette after “I get no kick in a plane,” the ironic look up, the innocent exasperation on “nothing to do,” and clever pose at the end. We get the boost, but Mr. Sinatra winks, daring us to love him. Who can resist?
The greatest interpreter of music the world has ever seen. My God, what an artist. We will never see the likes of him again.
Not sure about that
FS is the best of all time. Period.
I'm only 17 and I think it's the most beautiful kind of music that has ever been made. I feel like I was born in the wrong century.
You old now
Bros really old now. Wonder how is outlook is now. Sheeeeesh
bro is old af rn damn
27 year old loser now
I love how he sings the song and makes it sound like he's almost forgetting the words
this is from the premier episode of the Frank Sinatra show! crazy cool when he laughs at the censors who made him sing "some like perfume from spain" instead of the original "some get their kicks from cocaine". later in the show he has Kim Novak on and they flirt like maniacs for the camera, Incredible show
Man nobody can beat this gentleman in his timing
Nobody can ever sing like him, no even close. Great performance, amazing voice and charm....
I was born on Christmas of 82. This is the sexiest man I've ever seen!!!
And this ladies and gentlemen.is what you call being an entertainer
It's not sad that people CAN'T make music like is anymore, it's sad that they WON'T make music like this anymore.
What a moment! Frank Sinatra, the best swing, the best voice ever heard
Fact: only one Frank Sinatra till eternity.❤️
The 142 people who disliked didn’t get a kick out of somebody
Squares 😏
Old blue eyes, he was and still is the definition of cool!
Never seen anything as cool in my life! Talk about swag! Doesn't give a shit! No-one else but he could pull it off. Amazing.
Frank Sinatra was class personified! His supposed ties to organized crime only added to his mystique! I love technology, but the mystery surrounding stars before social media is greatly missed! Salute to The Chairman of the Board!
Frankie you make it look so easy!!!
Good God, this is absolute perfection.
No need to fight the old ennui watching Frank, he's so cooool
Sinatra’s slanting swagger, supple voice, and knack to craftily phrase a song are evident. But those qualities don’t necessarily speak to his charm, sensuality, and intelligence. A key is his extraordinary ability to allow his wandering thoughts to creatively inform his performance. It’s Method Acting 101 applied to singing. Spontaneity is lovingly allowed with all its rough and pointy edges. It all clicks, even when he seems to nearly fall out of the song from laughing.
What an incredible phrasing !!!
May 2021 and I love it
Great Artist with a great voice. You are so missed Frank.
I enjoy watching him but... at the same time I'm suffering. He's punching me right through my heart and soul!
This is what happens to me.
i'll thank my mother for the rest of my life for FRANK!! coolest cat ever!!
You're still the man...🌺
And still...🌹
he's so natural and smooth, i adore this man
Sheer sophisticated singing. Simply the best.
I’m still addicted to Sinatra at 82
First heard him at 16
Timeless. People like this, music like this.. It can't never happen again.
Legendary.
Good song one my late Dad used to hum sometimes when showering plants in his garden. It has been about half a Century I had not heard it but it is still good to hear.
Happy 100th Frank...this is my favorite Sinatra song.
Bring back the old Hollywood when it was class and excellence. Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly are the two all time greats of Hollywood.
20 people have no taste in music. I listen to every kind and let me say, this guy had that thing. What an amazing singer and entertainer.
I will never get tired of listening to this masterpiece.
MY GOD. THAT VOICE. SO POWERFUL... so TEMPERED...
Frank......the very, very best.
Cool, cool, cool. Sinatra is one of the coolest cats ever. Him, Dean Martin, Elvis, Sammy Davis Jr, and others are the most cool men ever. Kids these days don't know COOL
Spain, jojo, EPIC.
".. some like the perfume from Spain, Spain?!! Haah!.." Cool performance, isn't?
+Rosa Mariany The original lyrics were "I get no kick from cocaine. I'm sure that if I took even one sniff..." I"m serious. He sings it on one of his earlier albums.
+Robert Kauffman No it's "Some may go for cocaine"
+TheChickenman "Some get a kick from cocaine" The song also had a reference to Mrs. Charles Lindbergh that was changed after the kidnapping death of her child.
+Steven Lessner You may be right he sings it different in a lot of versions. I think the parfume from spain is the nicest tho.
+TheChickenman The version from the movie blazing saddles is funny
Best SINGER ever,i love you Frank
absolutely mesmerizing
He's a fucking legend man
The Sinatra never gets old.
Nunca es ETERNO !!
Felices Fiestas , para todos ,
Salud y Felicidad ❤️
I love you Frank! I love you!
He was amazing, his music is the best thing I've ever heard. I'm only 16 and Sinatra is definitely my favorite singer of all times
In my lifetime (1941 - ), Frank is the best.
Heard this song first time from the chinese drama 'starry night, starry sea', i think it's in episode 21 or 22. I fell in love with the song
The greatest...
Give me that now....a true magic pro!
WOW WOW WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From a 72yo Aussie fan.
Totally agree with Lizzy Allan.
Buble just doesn't have any feeling or soul in his singing.
Nobody does or ever will surpass Frank's vocals.
John Benn those were just different and great times. The 5 years after the war was just a party
You're right, Buble tries to sing like Sinatra but he doesn't even come close, athough he does a lot of Sinatra's songs.
Who else but Frank could clear his throat in the middle of a delivery and make it work. Totally the coolest. The greatest! The greatest of all time.
love the laugh at the replacement of cocaine with spain...hilarious...even he has to chuckle..
Finally! Heard a snippet of this song in Blazing saddles. didnt know who it was
God, everytime I watch this I get all giddy! I love Sinatra and his talent. Wish people of this generation knew the meaning of "good" music!
Didn’t know MF DOOM sampled this song wow this is amazing
That Voice and smoking…
That voice while smoking. King of cool. And no one else comes close.
A master with Lyrics and you can hear every word.Phrasing and diction perfect.Nobody like him since.
Can’t believe this guy sampled doom!!
nah bro im a big MF DOOM fan but this guy rigth here is the goat i think is a joke imma take it
and remember ALL CAPS WHEN YOU SPELL THE MANS NAME MF DOOM
My story is much too sad to be told...
(I hear that! I love you, Frank Sinatra. Your voice soothes me so.)
Always wonderful !
The Chairman of all Chairmen in a live TV performance from the 50s: a quaint, curious, and revealing take on an American classic. No special TV effects or color available in those days and only a lone camera follows the master. Yet the simple evocative setting of the album cover works. What pierces through the nicotine fog and sparkles is quintessentially elegant and sassy Sinatra. Contemporary singers could learn a lot from his straightforward approach.
I like how there are absolutely no dislikes on this! Frank Sinatra, rock on, baby. We love you, and your legacy lives on! *sends a kiss to heaven*
That is beyond perfection!
Legendary man, and the music.
Kool as kool gets !
It was a beautiful time for music!
Frank is smokin'. This is music for lovers of smokin'.
Simply the best there have been numerous imposters but ol' blue eyes was the king of swing. He had a velvety tone to his voice that is unmatched today
The way he sings champagne at the beginning…just hanging on the lyric. Incredible.
Iconic.
Sinatra the boss doing his thing .
The Boss, in full voice, is still something to behold.
God, he was so wonderful
Effortlessly cool. Pure elegance. I regularly visit Frank on CZcams as soon as autumn begins. Cold mornings, jazz music (especially Sinatra, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong, Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Chet Baker, etc ) and tea/coffee is the perfect combination 💯
Right back at you ❣️
Nunca dejará de sorprenderme el terrible estilo y la actitud de este hombre, por sobre todo en aquellos tiempos... era genial, sin dudas...
Su actitud soberbia es increíble! (Y)
Timeless! I love him and this era.
The pauses are insane 👍😊👍
БЕЗ ЭМОЦИЙ ЕГО НЕ ВОЗМОЖНО СЛУШАТЬ!!!!!!!
wordless...
frank sinatra, wine, cigar and fireplace. What do i need more?
Who’s agrees that we need a biographical feature film about Frank Sinatra’s rise to fame/life?? We got Bohemian Rhapsody for Queen, Rocketman for Elton John, 8 Mile for Eminem, Amadeus for Mozart... c’mon, it’s about time we get one for The Chairman himself!
I sure do agree
Fantastic Performance !! Very cool and Great !! Loved it !
