Nobody never wanna give Dwoods her dues but honestly speaking Dawn, Dwoods & Aundrea was the signature voices of the group. If I was to listen to Danity Kane on the radio I would know exactly who was singing what part between those 3. Shannon had a husky tone & Aubrey had an airy sensual tone overall.
Agreed! Also, the group said Dawn and D.Woods spent the most time in the studio which you can hear since both of them sung most of the background vocals on DK's first 2 albums. Which is the songs on DK3 are dope but just don't have that signature sound like you mentioned.
@@derwinhill8145 actually it was dawn and drea that lead the harmonies. Their formula was dawn and drea on the melody. Aubrey usually copied Aundrea last part at a lower volume. Shannon falsettos and d on lower end live. In the studio dawn and Aundrea did most of the harmonies and Melodie’s on the chorus and the others filled in here and there. Dawn and d on the lower. Aundrea usually took upper on first album second album they gave the falsetto parts to Shannon to give her more parts. But even the girls admitted Aundrea and dawn were the foundation to their vocal formula
D woods was important for the soound especially for the harmonies after they came back as 4 you could tell that it wasnt vocally the same Dwoods was reallly important for this group. Even if you listen to their songs she leads a lot of them the sound of DK was D.woods, Andre and Dawn
One thing D. Woods gone do, is GIVE THAT HARMONY NOTE!! She made them sound like a group!
Yesss

@@JamaicanFlava you highlighted this perfectly & it’s so True what you said about DK3👏🏾♥️🌠
Omg Aubrey ❤
Aundrea and Dawn CARRIED this group vocally 👏
Shannon and D.Woods carried the group with the choreography💯
By far the best vocalists of the group, but D. Woods was the HEART of a lot of their melodies and that iconic DK sound is thanks to D. Woods & Drea!
Dawn also killed the choreography

Dwoods should of shared leads with andrea they did her dirty and I think her skin colour had a lot to do with it
Hey can you tell me where you’re watching this? Trying to find the season when day26 is formed
