Actually Lux shot a beam in a sky to make Galio appear. Cuz Galio is sensetive to a magic.
And yeah, good mention about Demacias policy of not allowing any magic. That's why Lux didn't want to use magic.
Lore of a League of Legends is pretty nice thing tbh, ecpecially with all the stuff coming up it will grow way more. There's a Marvel + Riot comic avaible about Lux, just to mention ;)

He's not sensitive to magic, he literally counters magic. Petricite absorbs magic thats why lux needed to ult galio so that he can move, for galip magic is fuel

As an ADC main, I can confirm that my two biggest priorities are:
1. Don't die.
2. Steal all the kills with my big boi damage to get super fed and do bigger boi damage.
Magic is banned in Demacia so Lux is hiding power as no one knows that she can do magic and Galio is a statue that was made to protect demacia and only triggers when magic is used so lux calls him
well... no, sylas used magic to copy garens ultimate so if anything galio came because of him
@@GiRR007 Wrong actually. The amount needed for galio to awake is by lux's ultimate at the sky (also revealing her location)
Still don't actually understand, so the Mages of Demacia are really outcasts? If that's the reason why Sylas rebels, it was just like an Assassin's Creed plot twist or something, well kinda like him because of how he stand for the people whom betrayed by their own city..

@@akieyi8330 Okay, before someone else post more about reading the lore - What about the lore? I've read all the comics and love Lux to death, I know she can't show her magic, I also know cinematics aren't 100% canon. If they didn't already know about her magic they would have been bat shit crazy/scared when not only she used magic but SUMMONED GALIO FROM THE SKY WITH IT - a creature that is thought of as only a myth to nearly all Demacian's in the lore. So what, she couldn't use magic right away to save Garen because she was hiding it, but then after she uses it no one is freaked out by it, or Galio, they're all just super put together and ready to stand behind her? Yeah, no. Either the scene isn't canon, which means the whole hiding it vs. not hiding it doesn't matter, or the scene is semi-canon and they're teasing us that this band of Northern Demacian's are aware of Lux's abilities - and therefore meaning she didn't have to hide her abilities.
I know her lore, I can see that maybe they're playing on her reluctance to use magic in front of others at first but finally doing it, but my reaction was still "LUX DO SOMETHING" even though i knew the lore....lol
@@AmberSweetPea My guess is that at first, apart from the obvious reluctance to use magic, she could have thought Demacia's army could hold off Sylas's army, in addition to the fact that Sylas himself with his handguards (and maybe to some extent, his army) was resistant to magic so she was also unable to provide much help in the fight. However, when the fight became bleak, she knew she had to call Galio but if she didn't have her staff, she won't be able to generate magic strong enough to wake Galio (think about in the comics, when the mages were running rampant throughout the city, that much magic still wasn't able to wake Galio, much less by herself). So when she finally got her staff back, that's when she was finally able to channel enough magic to wake Galio.
Just my interpretation :)
love Lux, if anyone knows her story before watching the cinematic.. then its easily understand why she didnt help until she obtains her own staff and calls (not ult) Galio. Oh would be interesting for them to know her story with Galio

this video actually has a story behind it like sylas used to be working for demacia and he was imprisoned when he was a kid because he tried to save a girl from getting killed by the make seekers and he accidently killed them, and after like 10 years lux visited him in prison and educated him about the outside world in exchange for sylas teaching her magic, and she had a thing for him and when they found out about it, they made an order to get sylas executed the next day but he asked lux for a special book and he managed to escape the execution with a spell and since them he used the chains that he was been held there as a weapon, and after that he went to find other exiled mages to make an army to overtake demacia which is happening in this video, and about caitlyn and vi fighting urgot, they are the ones who beat him before and put him in prison and now some people hired mercenarjes to free him because he was like a symbol and an inspiration to these people

Lux didn't missed her ult. If you read the lore, Galio is a statue that can be only brought to life by an immense amount of magic, hence the "missed" Lux ultimate in the sky :)
