    If Mr. Stalin can achieve his target of USD 1 Trillion economy, then more chances for him to become "Father of Modern Tamil Nadu". He has got every capability to achieve this. But he has to work very hard for the next 15 years at least. His contribution in bringing-in Social Equality and maintaining Social Justice in Tamil Nadu was appreciated by all. We wish him all the very best.

      @ezebro Před 3 lety +7

      It’s already called SILICON VALLEY OF INDIA / GARDEN CITY OF INDIA / PUB CAPITAL OF INDIA and by many other names...
      Bangalore city is an emotion to many of us who’ve stayed here by birth or 20+ yrs...Its was the best during the 80s and 90s specially due to its thick greenery belt all around the city which now unfortunately has lost its charm under rapid growth of infrastructure....Lot of migration of ppl from other parts in search of better work too followed after that....People of this city are lovely and welcome all visitors and many of them who came to this beautiful city for work have now made this city their home....
      When a visitor who doesn’t know the local language try to speak with the locals ...The locals here are so down to earth that even though they don’t understand that visitors language they try their best to speak the visitors language so that visitor is made to feel homely ...
      That really don’t happen in other places as far my experience is concerned....
      Be it the weather ..the Worklife ..The food ...The entertainment ..Wat not ?? Bangalore has it all...
      Yes TRAFFIC is one of the woes ..which of course is due to massive migration of ppl to the city for their bread and butter and yes its a common sight when a city is growing so fast every single second.
      I wish everyone a happy fruitful stay in NAMMA CITY and yes when your in the city do become a part of our culture by learning our local language KANNADA ...and may god bless you all and bless INDIA 🇮🇳...Jai Hind Jai Karnataka

    Always a pleasure to hear an intellectually rich conversation. Infrastructure is a very important issue in most of the major southern cities and should be made world class to further grow and retain talent. Upcoming areas beyond IT should also be looked into to make sure that there is sustainable growth. However, the fact remains that the majority of our population is concentrated along the Hindi belt in the Northern states and unless there is a real change in these states India as a country cannot move forward. I hope that the Southern Model is replicated and indeed improved upon in the Northern states as well. A tall task but definitely possible.

States like maharashtra, gujarath , punjab , himachal , haryana ,uk etc are also contributing to lot of extent . Infact if up is divided into east and west up west up is quite prosperous and generate most wealth. In karnataka if you take north karnataka or tulunadu region this regions are quite less developed since karnataka receives quite centralized development . Even if india reaches 5 trillion which is a very very tough job due to China, India will still be poor, the main reason is because of India’s large population...5trillion is not enough to ger millions and millions out of poverty and provide jobs....India would need an economy of 12-18 trillion to see a huge jump in poor and middle class people loving standards go up.....the 5trillion economy will not help the poor or middle class but it will only help the rich....instead of targeting 5trillion India should target 15 trillion. One thing that is missing in India to become manufacturing hub is improvisation or innovation whether you tale small industries or big like Tata. What Tata has invented or patented next generation technological product. We try to import critical technological product from where it is available and integrate in our products. That is why we have huge trade deficit with China. Economy cannot be sustainable with this type of business model. Just look at South Korea how they have developed.
