  • Duke guard and internet sensation Jared McCain is a very good basketball player. His game starts off with his tremendous touch. He's a versatile shooter that can shoot off 1-2 or a hop, left-right, right-left, off the dribble, catch, or move to both directions because of his excellent balance and precise shot prep. Offsets his lack of explosiveness with craft downhill, changing angles, initiating physicality, and advanced footwork on step-throughs/pivots. He displays a clear feel for the game, allowing him to punish a defense as a second-side creator and move intuitively without the ball. The number one obstacle for McCain will be his size as an off-guard but his shooting, maturity and feel at 19 years old show serious promise.
