It seems travellator is an option.
Lift motor rooms, or some sliding door entrance at some building, or a revolving door

I just wanted to say thank you. this game was my childhood. I used to watch this on youtube somewhere between 2010 and 2017. Just now downloading it and reliving the nostalgia.

It would be cool to see how his version is going to turn out! Right now the only building creator is the one I (NothingCanStopMe357) made on scratch. (The V4+ version is the good version)

@@akimbogaming9334 I havent worked on it for a while so it may be buggy. Let me know if any errors. I may be doing another overhaul (YES, another overhaul, still using Turbowarp as my main editor, but I may have to use some few features that won’t work with scratch and instead I will have to provide the packaged HTML file or I might just publish the source code so people can do it themselves on TurboWarp.
How did you end up implementing the safety circuit?
I myself have been trying to compile the game from source, but i have been unsuccessful. It would be very nice if someone was able to help me out with this, as I am planning to make my own modifications to the game.
The games source code is very old. The latest version does not have any source code for it.
A very skilled programmer contacted me and reversed engineered the game and added all of the features that I wanted. I am very impressed with his skill and how fast he did this.
What modifications were you planning. It would make sense if we both worked together on this, rather than both of us forking the game in different directions. At the moment the modifications are not yet ready to be released. if you are able to wait a couple of weeks then you will be able to see the changes I have made to the game and then we could work on any changes that you would like made.
@@benolifts Just wanted to let you know that the simulator actually now officialy has the features you wanted added (realistic safety circuit + separete controls for up and down in inspection)

what operating system are you running
I can tell by the looks of it it is windows 8 or 8.1. Most people today are using windows 10 including me, although some are using windows 11, not counting mac or Linux users

Nice copy and paste mate, and plus, the developer allows redistribution on certain conditions. It clearly says it in the console when the building you chose starts loading.
Any advice for missing textures on buildings in the current version of beno skyscrapersim?
I am creating a new version of the game. I am not able to help with problems on outdated versions
I'm suprised that you didn't just start developing a brand new game/simulator in something like Unreal Engine 4/5 or Unity Engine instead of trying to adapt this dated & empty feeling software which is supposed to be open source under the LGPL
There are a couple of reasons for this. This old software does pretty much everything I need. If I was to recreate it I would have to put months of effort into creating something that already exists. It was easier to adapt existing software. The problem is this is I am having to work around many bugs in the game. This has turned out to be very long winded.
This old software does create a building to the level of realism that I want. please ignore the textures as these need updating. Plus I can do other things such as creating manual 3d windows, rather than having windows just as a flat texture. Then once I have included internal upright supports, and more lift shaft decorations, the buildings will look as realistic as they would ever be. The only thing then to do is to populate the buildings with custom objects (so that the buildings are not empty on the inside).
