THE WOODSMANS KUKRI by William Collins.. i am doing work/research on this new design of kukri ment to focus on the needs of the woodsmen of eastern woodlands.(USA)
I am sure a collaboration between Blackie and William Collins will yield a 1st class product! I own only one of William's knives but it is a great blade. I look forward to seeing more. Take care.
It looks like it would perform like a light weight hatchet .... I like the concept of a kukri as a tool for areas along the gulf coast... However I wonder if a convex grind wouldn't help it perform better as a chopper/ splitter probably a good combo with a bow saw .... Looks awesome I think that belt sheath is a bold suggestion though probably gonna ride in the pack
All I can say is... "Big hunk of steel." I would not want to carry that thing very far. 😊 It will be interesting to see what you two come up with for an end product.... later.....
brother big is a understatement..william said he was going as big as he could..and we both know its way to big..but thats part of the test..we will talk on all these points in a the upcoming detail video..stay tuned.....missed ya at the VOO..safe journeys
Yes!!! Can't wait to see it in action. I've been bringing up adding a kukri to my order with William for a little bit so hopefully this will convince him to go with it ;)
Looks like a very good overall design. Can’t wait to see it in action. This may be the closest thing to a true one tool option. I like his use of tool steel. O1 is pretty tough steel
Without distal weight due to a nice taper the kukri should not be as weight forward. Could that not have a huge effect on the chopping ability? What's the spine dimension in mm? Will it only come in O1 tool steel? What about the heat treat?
How much is the 9th going to be in where would be some places to get one to see if you can use it or work with it. I really have enjoyed your bra blogs. I thank you and sincere and I enjoy it and I tell people that this some of the best I've seen. Thank you💀💀🐴👌✌👍
Karl Childers: Some folks call it a Sling-blade, I call it a Kaiser Blade. Mmm hmm... best not miss, cause the follow through with that hunk o" iron, could cost a person something they'd really ought to keep
Good Looking Blade. I can't Wait to Watch the Review. Love the Videos..

Hoowee that is a beast, I kept spotting it hanging up on his wall as he was working on it and he was very evasive about it. What does it weigh?

all in good time..

When these are for sell I would like to know
When ?
When will the kukri be available
How much
Does it have a lanyard hole
yes it does kinda hidden in the back of the grip
blackoracle69 I was wondering because it's a huge knife
william points out that you can use a small laynyard to lock on to your finger for certain tasks i will demo it very soon
blackoracle69 awesome
William will make it any way you want it or want on it .
