- We are in Southampton, England and we are boarding our first ever British Isles cruise for 9 days sailing on Norwegian Dawn! We have stops in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland… this is going to be EPIC!!!
After boarding we will show you around the ship a bit until it’s time to sail away. And what a beautiful sailing from Southampton! We have a yummy Asian dinner, watch a show and enjoy wandering the ship on our first day.

Sailed on the Dawn Boston to Bermuda 5 times. It's like visiting with an old friend.
I was deck 9,port side, a small stagg...errr walk from O Sheeans, and the bartenders remembered me on the 2 nd cruise from the first one, One of em remembered what my fav drink was, also I had the same cabin twice, with a balcony.
I sailed on the Norwegian Dawn twice from San Juan to the southern Caribbean, and in St Lucia someone told me who was sailing on the Jewel of the Seas,that in Antigua when the Norwegian Dawn leaves a port, people on other ships know it cause they hear it, lol.
You'll love it! Jason will be blown away when he realises his "British" accent matches non of the 40! 😜😜😜❤️❤️
We've been on several ships, some of the newest for NCL but we still love the Dawn. The layout of the pool area was one of our favorites, the entertainment and of course Osheehan's simple amazing
O’Sheehan’s was our spot on this ship! Every day after a cold port we would come here to warm up with a pot of tea (well a beer for Jason) and something to eat. I just love it!
I cruised on the NCL Dawn twice from Boston to Bermuda. I love that ship, small but lots of fun! The crew were fun & very helpful.

We have done the Dawn 3 times! Our first was Boston to Bermuda for 7 days, next was 12 day repositioning from Tampa to Boston via Caribbean, then 14 day Caribbean round trip out of Boston. We love the Dawn and especially love Los Lobos specialty restaurant! We have also done the Sun in Alaska and will be doing the Jade to Western Caribbean, which will be new to us. Love the old, smaller ships. Thank you for all the great videos from your Western Caribbean trips. I am getting a lot of great information for our up coming trip on the Jade and love checking out all the ships and cruises you have been on. Thank you, I feel like you have done my homework 😂
We are doing the Jade too in Feb! Love the Jewel Class Ships. I wasn't impressed with the Joy or Encore..
Yes! Los Lobos was amazing!! We ate there twice!!

We did the British Isles on Regal Princess in August. It was fabulous. We went to Normandy for our excursion in France and oh my. Loved France. Loved every stop on our trip. I cant wait to see your videos. UK it is in my DNA!

If you search wikipedia for the term "British Isles" you will see that neither Irish nor British governments use that term because of how offensive it is to the irish since we Irish fought a bloody war in 1916 against the British to disassociate from them. I recommend people do not visit Ireland until they educate to not use offensive terms like British Isles and /or black and tans or car bombs. We do not find it funny and it is highly insulting and offensive

I was so excited to see this post! British Isles is on my bucket list too! I’ve been looking at Princess, but I’m interested to see how NCL is. My first and only cruise with NCL was my least favorite, but the vibe of this cruise seems way different. Looking forward to your adventures.

I love, love LOVE Norwegian's smaller ships. I'm scared they're going to eventually retire them all and well be stuck with the gigantic ones.
They know that people love the small ones two. They just did a complete refurbishment on Sky and it looks fantastic!

Thanks. I sailed this ship with my family in 2000 or so. I would have rather had done this in the British Isle than the Caribbean like I did. My family is from the Caribbean and it's great but Brit Isles would be a change of pace. But you sail away to Caribbean music so that's interesting. I'll check more out later.

Looking forward to more of this cruise! The architecture is amazing. Thanks for sharing. This is also a bucket list of mine. We had to cancel a repositioning cruise on Dawn starting in NY, to Canada, Iceland, Ireland, France, then South Hampton. Broke our hearts but just couldn't go. (Life happens) We do plan on booking a similar itinerary in 2025. Next up is the Jade in Feb. I havent been to Aruba or Curaco yet so really looking forward to it!

I was on one of the Dawn's first cruises back in early 2003. Interior looks a bit different but I suppose it's been refreshed a few times since then!

Like this ship, was on a UK & Ireland trip earlier this year. The wine bar was so strange to me especially since they did the solo meet up there, drink wise that did not make sense since the venue was small. Love O'Sheehan and Los Lobos. The ship size is great on of my fave NCL ones.

We have not been on the Dawn, but have been on the Epic (yuck & not a fan), loved all the others - Getaway, Breakaway, Encore, Joy and the Escape. Looking forward to a nine day on the Jade early May 2024. Always love following you guys!

Your teaser was fantastic, can’t wait to see your videos! I absolutely loved Ireland, I told hubby we need to plan a b2b cruise in 2025 hopefully sometime in May. Would love to start in Barcelona end in Southampton then board another ship to hit the British Isles. Hoping it’s something that can be done. May need to reach out to you for help with planning. Went a couple of years ago cruising Netherlands. It was not busy. I think it’s suppose to be haunted. An overboard gal haunts it supposedly

My friends were on land tour of Great Britain a month ago and had wonderful weather! Better than Ohio!

You need to do a land trip in Britain. Easy to do since they speak pretty much the same language. So much to see and do that’s not on the coast

Hey team. My wife and I are looking into this exact cruise next July for our 10 years. We are coming from Australia, but wanted to ask if you had any recommendations in regards to getting to Southampton, did you fly in to London then drive down or fly into SH etc? Be keen to hear your thoughts. Itinerary looks awesome and ship does too!
We flew in and out of London and used Twelve Transfers to and from. They are so easy to work with. And definitely spend some time in London!!

Went with my parents on Princess with similar ports many years ago. My Mom's grandparents were born in Ireland (Miller) was her maiden name. Everyone is a Miller in Ireland. We took a tour to the Blarney stone. What a hike to climb the stairs before getting to the kissing wall. When I saw how disgustingly black and fuzzy the wall was from everyone kissing it I took a pass on putting my lips on it and made my parents wipe their lips off with wet ones! Sorry but it was GROSS
