Tony Todd is literally a living legend. And his voice simply priceless. He gave it to The Fallen in Transformers 2 and next year we will hear him again as Venom in Spider-Man 2😍.

The new movie doesn't really ignore the sequels but rather EXPANDS on the lore and myth of Candyman. Showing that each Candyman is a victim of the Hive Mind of Daniel Robitaille.

I think the reason Candyman’s arm is so long is because of the prosthetic hook. It is a really old movie. They couldn’t use cgi like they do now.
CGI was good when it first came out but now they over use it and it fucking sucks

A few months ago I had a lot of candy after the holidays and I started handing them out at school, at that time I first heard about candyman (the one who killed his son in the 70s) and took the name Candyman. I always wore a gray jacket with a collar, a black tie, a white shirt, serious glasses, trousers and black gloves, which made me unique among the rest of the students. Many people knew me because I gave candy to almost everyone I met. I ran out of candy and I was already tired of my job a few months later, I was thinking of finding a successor, but no one could do the job well, so I just went on an unlimited vacation.

I do like the idea of there being multiple candymen honestly
But i feel that all of them are less heroic ghosts and more...vengeful Spirits like the original
Yes you can have them kill people who harm black communities like what William wanted
But they all are tormented souls and people who aren't really "All There" now that they are ghosts
Best to leave sleeping dogs lie and let these ghosts rest, instead of constantly summoning them over and over
Honestly, I agree with that.
Especially since the person made into Candyman has to undergo some deeply awful stuff in order to become this spirit of vengeance.
Spoilers
Letting sleeping dogs lie would be nice but the Candyman obsessed laundromat owner has been so traumatised by guild over alerting the police, therefore producing the Candyman that killed his sister. Honestly, it feels like a mix of guilt and a need for control over his life that motivated him to do this to one troubled man. The obsessed man is still awful and his actions aren't excused but you can understand it. It feels like Candymen are created to satisfy that desperation people feel after years of subjugation without a way out.
Candyman isn’t vengeful though, he’s down to kill innocents just to keep his legend alive.

He's a ghost who wants to be remembered and doesn't care who dies to spread the legend, because that's all that matters
In many cases the original man and the candymen described in the movie are consumed by this desire, and only by it

Also pretty sure Bumblebee's would be pretty short because I'm fairly sure he was first created by the Micheal bay movies. Although previous transformers series had a character named "hotshot" who was basically the same as bumblebee so I guess you could treat them as the same character for an evolution video.

Clive Barker's creations like Pinhead and Candyman are truly underrated. They're so unique compared to the simple idea of a brute with a knife hunting you down, and they maintain that uniqueness so well without going overboard with mythology, sort of like how Halloween and Friday the 13th tried to take a new direction with Jason Goes to Hell and The Curse of Thorn timeline.
