  • Hey guys! I'm back! And to kick off my return, I'm going to show you how I created this RAD 80'S CAKE complete with handmade 80's themed edible toppers!
    I'ts a long one but there are loads of cool techniques for you to sink your teeth into.

    When you need to cut out small lettering you should stick your fondant onto a board with a very light smear of white shortening and then it won't move around when you're cutting around the letters. Leave it to dry for just a few minutes then remove the cut out from the board. (Very old old trick)

    I really loved watching your tutorial!
    I have to make an 80s cake that will feed up to 70 people so I was looking for ideas.
    A question, I was going to use fondant to make the i love 80s sign.
    Is it best to use modelling clay? if so, do you buy yours or make it?
    Also, is it possible to make the mixed tape etc up to 2 weeks before ?
