By the way my car is a 2016/17 polo 1.8 gti tsi bluemotion 192ps , DAJ engine .
The car has mostly everything activated already from the manufacturers so theres not much i want to change tbh , ive turned on & turned off some features already tho which aint causing any problems so all is good on that side of things .
Opening the thermostat will help greatly whilst flushing the system without actually heating engine up . I know i can activate the radiator by-pass valve with the obdeleven pro Aswell

I’d bought a pro device from Russia for Vento (2018, 1.2 TSI HL+). How to get setup the vehicle with VIN? There is no option showing Vento instead of Polo and Rapid. I have selected the Polo but couldn’t activate any of the preloaded feature/apps like basics needle sweep etc. please help in this regards. Thanks.
Sir , there is no vento in international markets , its known by the name of polo sedan , there should be an option where OBDeleven will confirm the model year , model selection ( 5 or 3 door ) and engine option , select those according and it will work .

Hi, sir.. I own VW polo 1.2 tdi M-2012. I am facing issue while shifting to reverse gear (grinding noise) this comes up after I drove the car for few kms. If standstill after ignition it shift s normally to reverse gear no noise. [ After driving few kms if I want to shift it to reverse without getting the grinding noise I need to shift it to 1st gear then to reverse, in this scenario there won't be grinding noise ]
This problem started after replacing clutch set (OEM) at 65000 kms, but didn't go for transmission oil change (since mechanic said oil was looking good no need to go for changing showed by loosing the filler bolt) . After this I was experiencing the reverse gear grinding issue. So thought to change transmission oil got it replaced, (oil was some other brand - offered by go mechanic workshop). Even after this issue couldn't be resolved. I have hard shift s sometime s in 3 & 4 gears.
A local mechanic said need to do clutch air out / clutch bleed.
Slave cylinder and master cylinder are in good condition. There is no squeaking noise while released/pressed.
So need your advice in this concern..
- Do I need to drain out transmission oil and change it with oil - sk zic 75w-85 ( as seen from one of your video) a right method. So that issue would be solved!!
If not
- How and when to do clutch bleed / air out ?
After the changing to new oil!
Help me out in this regard....

Very first thing i need to know that is , did you changed the flywheel along the clutch or not ?
The grinding noise usually comes when we don't press the clutch fully and try to change gears .
Bleeding air out of clutch system is a good idea you should try it , because if there is still air trapped in clutch system then pressure plate of cluch will not recieve full pressure from the pedal .
Changing the transmission oil after a clutch replacement is a must , as you have spend a good amount on clutch plate , pressure plate and bearing then its a wise idea to change the fluid and be worry-free till next time , if you want to swap transmission fluid then use motul , its better than sk zic ( i have a video on it as well )
Last possibility of grinding noise is syncros themself , they are located in between the 2 gears to make the gear shifting process smoother , if cogs of syncro are eaten up then they will grind , but in your case as you said that it happened after clutch work . Its almost impossible
Did mechanic calibrated the gear shifter and shift lever after the clutch work ?
Because in these vehicles after you remove transmission you need to re calibrate the shifter and lever to have perfect shifts .
(Most probably this week i ll upload a video on this process as well )

I have a 2013 Vento highline TDI covered 1.55lac kms till today.
Till now I have only changed the front suspension. I am still running completely stock on clutch and all other parts including timing belt and water pump.
I am planning to change the clutch + timing belt & water pump + few other minor issues to sort out...
1. Regarding the clutch - no loss of power or pickup till now but it has become slightly heavy.
However when in heavy / slow moving traffic there is slight jerky-ness while releasing the clutch slowly - is this because of the clutch ?
While changing the clutch - Should i change the full clutch package including the pressure plate, friction disk and clutch bearing ? What will be the rough cost to change the clutch ?
Shall i ask the mechanic to also do preventive cleaning of EGR valve and throttle body ? ... is there anything else i need to do preventive cleaning and maintenance for ?
2. There is a squeak noise when releasing the clutch pedal - i feel this noise is coming from somewhere near the clutch pedal possibly behind the firewall - what could be the reason pls ?
3. Last 2 days the center aircon vents on the dashboard - there is no air blowing - however air is coming at full blast from the side aircon vents. Also when i change the direction of air from dashboard to feet there is no air blowing. Could this be a the blower or resistor issue or the motor for air direction flaps behind center aircon vent ? ...
Lastly is the VAG-COM VCDS -OR- OBD 11 better ?
The Vento is a beautiful car sturdy and fantastic mileage (18-20 on highway with full load). With your help i hope to be able to maintain the car well and enjoy more years with it.

Control module (behind air filter) clips broken, have tied it with wires. It held up well till now , is it necessary to install new clips
Sir , just make sure that its held in position firmly , basic motive of mounting bracket is to keep it firmly in place , so if you have tied it down properly then no need of new bracket

Sir blowby smoke is a normal thing in vw tdi engines , oil consumption acc. To VW USA says that any amount of consumption below ( 1 fl. quart / thousand miles ) is still considered to be normal consumption

And yesterday I went to a car garage to get liquimoly injector cleaner liquid to put in my fuel tank ....looking at the white smoke he said that the piston rings have been damaged and the oil is going in the combustion chamber and quoted a expense of around 80-90 thousand. Can you also tell the reasons behind piston ring damage and the problems/symtoms which the owners might face in this situation just to ensure everythings fine and for knowledge too!!
Volkswagen tdi has engine blowby by design , its not a problem , if the engine oil starts to burn inside the combustion chamber then you will experience light blueish smoke , white smoke means the mix is getting rich , and system needs cleaning , sir just use the injector cleaner and if possible get following things cleaned properly
1. MAF sensor
2 . intercooler
3. EGR system ( if not complete , atleast the return pipe)
4 intake manifold
Your problem will go away .

I'm using obd11 for about a month now (scanning+apps) and have bought credits to do some minor mods. Went to work and came home and tried to do some other app modification but suddenly most of the apps are 'not supported' (red error when clicking on the app) so I can't change anything. Even the apps I already changed are 'not supported' and it can't be that my cars is not supported to change.Tried reconnecting and rebooting the phone but no solution yet. Any suggestions?

Sir if its truly an elm327 chip with the required protocols then yes it can do that , but a lot of those elm327 in market are fake , so just be a little careful

im interested in video in motion coding for my skoda rapid 1.6 mpi. But OBD11 does not show me in the apps of my car. Any idea of long coding instructions? Also have you tried mirror dip function on reverse?
Sir video in motion depends upon the video playing capabilities of the headunit n, and mirror dip is not possible , as it requires a memory module , which rapid doesn't have
@@yourDIYneeds I got a Blaupunkt Key Largo 970 on which Prime video, hotstar, CZcams video plays while in motion. But direct video playback from USB does not work
Sir obd unlocking only works with the OEM headunit , as blaupunkt is an aftermarket unit , so it won't have any effects on the unit , main reason why unit is not playing video when on move is because it can sense that the car is moving by voltage , and regulations define that car headunits are not allowed to play videos while on move .

Sir that totally depends upon the BCM your car has , but as far as my knowledge goes , yes that BCM support needle sweep but only the version 1 not version 2

No sir , basic scanning is always free , but if you want to install new apps and activate features which are not already activated then you need to use credits . You can buy credits but you can also earn credits by watching ads .

Sir thats possible , as soon as you will plug obdeleven then you can enable it with help of long coding , or prebuilt apps , here we don't have touran , so i never connected the device to touran , but if vw is charging a price to do it , then its definately possible with obdeleven

Sir , Warrenty totally depends upon the service centre , they just need a tiny clue that someone's has touched the vehicle from outside and they will void the Warrent , even if a changed screw will make them feel that someone tried to open a certain part .
