    “ Missing Tennessee teen Sebastian Rogers' mom has defended leaving town while the search for her autistic son is ongoing as he 'could be anywhere'. Katie Proudfoot revealed she will be leaving Hendersonville to accompany her husband Chris as he goes back to work in Memphis. However, a frantic search is still ongoing for missing Sebastian, 15, who vanished from the couple's home a month ago. Proudfoot told broadcaster Nancy Grace admitted she is 'absolutely' concerned about leaving, but that she does not know when she will return. 'My son could be anywhere and we're looking everywhere and anywhere,' she said. Chris explained the decision had been taken so he could go back to work, although Proudfoot admitted she will not be returning back to work yet. The couple along with Sebastian's father Seth and an army of volunteers have been combing the area for the teen since he disappeared on February 26. The Cajun Navy has now taken over the search, employing drones and K9 units in an attempt to trace him. The non-profit composed of volunteers with boats was formed in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina to help look for survivors and has helped with search and rescue since. The group recently joined the search for missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain, whose body was pulled from the Cumberland River on Friday. Police and volunteers have been searching nearby woods blasting Eye of the Tiger, which is Sebastian's favorite song. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said more than 2,000 miles have been searched on foot, and there have been aerial searches with helicopter, drones and a fixed wing plane. Sebastian was last seen by his mom going up to bed after he had taken out the trash the night before he vanished. His mother has claimed that she heard a 'noise' coming from his bedroom that night. 'He was doing something in his room because about an hour later, I heard some noise and I was like, "I don't care what you're doing in there but go to sleep,"' Katie said.” Article by The Daily Mail : www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...

    Two things I noticed. Firstly, the step father said that he hit Sebastian once, and that it was “years ago/at least three years ago”, also when he said it was because the child lied. The other interview, when he implied he hit him because he lost his belt, he referred to Sebastian as being fifteen years old, and that “no fifteen year old likes being disciplined.” Supposedly when CPS had shown up while they were about to eat supper. Secondly, when the stepfather talked about the flower bushes below Sebastian room, he said “if he jumped out of his window barefoot, and landed in the flower bushes, WE would have heard him.” How would the stepfather hear him if he was out of town?
    I hate to cast blame without all of the facts, but I truly think both the mother and stepfather are involved. Lastly, I have to say the fact that he is even considering going back to work right now, and that she went with him, is completely absurd. I know, I hear a million times over, people don’t know what they would do, unless they were in the same situation. However, I am pretty sure his employer would be understanding under the circumstances. And if it were for financial reasons, I am quite certain many would donate to a go fund me for these parents if they actually and genuinely showed concern. There is no way in hell any mother would leave their home and tag along with their husband out of town UNLESS she knew her son was never coming home. I don’t know of the reasoning or motivation, but if Sebastian was too much for them to handle, he had another parent that would have taken full responsibility for him if given the chance. I just really wish, for the father and family that are truly heartbroken, that the truth comes to light very soon.

    • @soulfireonfire6423
      @soulfireonfire6423 Před 2 měsíci +65

      Yup I caught the 15 year old statement also!
      One other thing no one is mentioning is and maybe because it was the father on another interview, but he said that Sebastian would not, on his own , leave the house without shoes on!
      He says one time they were outside and he step in a fire ant hill! The father said it took one time for that to happen and he always, since then , will not go outside without his shoes on!

      I do not usually jump to conclusions. However, the mom and step dad (based on appearances), look like they are lying through their teeth. Then, they are not talking to bio dad, and mom is leaving home to go to work with step dad...all the red flags are blazing. This is a heartbreaking case. Given that the step dad has a history of losing his temper, and knowing anyone with autism will react strongly to dysregulated adults, I do not trust that the step dad could control himself for one minute. I can only speculate, I hope I am wrong.

It would be a lot worse if they lost their homes and stuff because they had no income. I think the mom leaving is a bit weird. I might be able to understand it if ( maybe) she was really scared to be home alone, not knowing if someone kidnapped her son. It is highly unlikely for him to just walk in the door though, so maybe that's why she felt ok leaving. I think everyone thinks he was taken because his shoes were left behind, so police would be the ones to actually find him, and then call her.

    I'm from the city right next to Hendersonville, which is Gallatin and the same county, Sumner County. I know this whole county is heartbroken and worried about where this baby could be and what really happened to him. Autistic children tend to stay with what and who they know, they don't do change very well so I really don't believe he just left on his own. I do believe something is going on with the step father and the mother though. It really did seem like the step father was trying to nudge the mother to limit what she was saying or catch her before she slipped. But the interview with Nancy Grace got me, I really think they slipped up there when Nancy asked them if they went to bed at the same time. The mother keep repeating that the step father wasn't home like she was trying to make it true but who was she trying to convince herself or all of us. Everyone please pray that we find this precious baby boy and bring him home.

    Another red flag: Sebastian has pet Yorkies in the custodial home. The "mom" stated in an interview that the dogs never barked the night of Sebastian's disappearance. Yorkies bark at everything, let alone a bigger sized dog. Wouldn't they have barked at the "thud?" Or barked when they heard Sebastian allegedly leave the home? They are lying 🤥🤥🤥!!!!
