I’m glad you mentioned what happened at Ulta, I would normally be that person who would think “who does she think she is” but goes to show we never know what someone’s situation is. Everyone is quick to judge and as a society we need to keep our ears open

I’m so lucky I have my baby’s grandparents that love to help. It’s a luxury. I don’t see the problem with having people who love you and want to support you. No matter how much help you get you are still the parent at the end of the day. & WITH TWINS.

Honestly Naz as a mother to an 8 month old I appreciate you showing this vulnerability, the same happened to me at an eye doctor appointment that literally had 1 person in front of us and had us wait 2 hours and my daughter was fussy and tired. Thankfully I had my hubby because when I get overstimulated I catch attitude with everyone. I can’t imagine having my baby waiting because an employee wants to basically embarrass me. I tell my hubby all the time I feel like after the pandemic ppl have just become so rude and just un empathetic. Like I go to my local library and it’s like a breath of fresh air because their so nice especially since I’m so used to always having to have a guard up because some ppl are honestly just so rude. But you’re not being dramatic mama I get it🥺❤️

Don’t even let this girl bother you. Social media has people feeling entitled to treat people poorly even at their places of business! If she had an attitude then that was unprofessional. Customer service is a skill and I really wish more places would reprimand or let people go who don’t actually show a pleasant customer service nature.

I know exactly how you feel. I get super anxious and nervous when ppl talk down to me (which I get soooooooooo often being a visible minority in our community) and I feel like crying and do cry. Obviously if you heard, she said she wanted to take a minute also because she’s upset. She doesn’t want her child seeing her upset crying, and the school said he’s fine they have them she’s on the way. You could’ve left your comment to yourself.

As someone who use to work at ulta i can 100000% attest that the employee wanted to make sure the customers in-line heard what she was telling you because it would caused chaos if she would have let you skip the line. There’s moms , people who have jobs etc in line. Trust me there would have been other customers rioting as to why they can’t also skip the line. In the future I would book an appointment hoursss before i know I have to do something because you just never know if something comes up / people are running late or go over time to avoid this.
I don’t think it would of cause chaos, I’m sure the customers in line don’t even have a clue of the situation. The employee was causing a scene herself, and chaos. It’s true what Naz said Ulta should have a separate check out for clients who are getting services done there. A client who is getting services done there, shouldn’t have to wait in line to pay for their service. That’s absurd 😅

No, that cashier’s customer service was atrocious. Sometimes businesses need to accommodate their customers in certain situations. And she shouldn’t have publicly embarrassed her.
I love to vlogs, I watch them all and I will continue to watch them all. But there are a couple things you could’ve done, like if it was that pressing for you to leave and pick him up, you could’ve left early even if your hair wasn’t finished. Not ideal but if it’s unavoidable then it’s unavoidable. Secondly, you could’ve told the story after picking up Kavon. By stopping on the street, it makes it seem like being late was not that serious.
I totally understand why you were upset and I think it’s totally valid. Thanks for being vulnerable because it’s not always easy I’m sure. I think there’s nothing wrong with you asking to be checked out quickly, and the cashier wasn’t nice about it. It always feels icky dealing with condescending customer service.

Awe girl I’m sorry that happened. I completely understand how you must’ve felt, I have terrible anxiety so I would’ve had the same reaction. When my daughter was a baby, Target double charged me for formula & kept saying they refunded it but instead just kept recharging me, I was charged like 4x. Anywho I started crying at the Target customer service desk. I just threw my shades on, ran out & had my husband go back up there with me. Hope this long story helps you feel a little better 😂

It was really unnecessary, at the bottom of your receipt there’s a survey you can take, put the store number and let them know your experience also you can add the employees name. It goes straight to management. No one is a Karen for sticking up for themselves and not allowing someone to treat them poorly! Put behind you and move forward ❤️
I felt the tears so heavy. I don't have any children of my own (hopefully one day), but I know the frustration of people trying to paint your character in a certain light. Btw, this happened to me the other day at Ulta. My cashier was super nice I was explaining to her my situation with my bday gift that I wasn’t able to get & the cashier next to us butted in & was being super rude & I just ended up feeling bad & saying never mind it’s ok and left. Sometimes people are having a bad day so I’ve been trying to not take it personal when stuff like that happens
