I do love it, great little plane, and one of the best instrument visibilities in aircraft at the moment, not sure what you did with the glass, but the readouts are sharp af compared to a lot.

I have had the Deimos inc Pilatus PC-12 on my wishlist for awhile now, but will definitely wait for this one instead, thanks for timely review.

I would say it looks much better even.
Just added this to my hangar, and it truly is a joy to fly. One of my best aircraft, reasonably priced.

Really like the idea of "partnerships" with the manufacturer, especially when they have a say if the airframe is ready for release. Should improve modeling quite a bit... 💙

Thank you for the review, I am indeed looking forward to this one. With your drone camera slow drone speed to 2-4 and drone rotation to 20-25 that will give you smoother control of your drone camera outside, these are the setting I use in my videos.

Wow Iris, that’s a very happy blast from the past! They made a Tornado GR1 for FS2004 - that was the plane that got me into simming. I remember all I did was fly from EGLC to EGLL as I had no clue what I was doing ha! I loved it tho, great developer. Definitely gonna get me this, it looks proper beasty. The red ones look like prop versions of the Red Arrows! Do you know what those lines are on the canopy glass? Thanks for the video, I love your channel :)
Cool video , i remember they brought the PC-21 and the Texan 2 for evaluation for the replacement for the Shorts built Tucano at the airfield i work at . I have to say they both looked impressive but the RAF went with the Texan in the end , which if i remember was a bit smaller from what i can remember . We had a Tucano at our airfield and i liked it but i do remember the canopy opening from outside was rather stiff , luckily im a big lad but it took some effort . I don't know if that was by design or it was just getting old lol . This addon is good i do like it , well modelled and it's performance is great for throwing it around . And the removal of the pins is some thing i haven't seen before , wonder if they will model an ejection sequence ?
Talking of issues and stuttering or in my case freezing , seems have got worse from the last update . Hoping the next up date will solve that and of cause i do believe the DC-3 .....oohh can't wait

Airbrakes are a great invention! :)
Cockpit could use a little work because most of the textures are flat and low resolution.
Nice review, may I ask how do you jump to the rear copcckpit, iove cyccled through the camera views and the only on that puts me in the rear cockpit is at some strange angle i cant see the controls.
Perfect landing i have to say , you would give maverick a run for his money . The red warning lights might have been if you have the back seater as i think you can de-select that , but if you do you have to jump in back and remove the seat and canopy pins and switch the oxygen on . At least that's what i found after flying around with bitching betty nagging at me , but she only nags for a reason lol .
I don’t think the X-Box console MSFS 2020 would ever offer COIN capable version. PC systems get all the “fun” stuff.

Nice review, but why do you test Pilatus aircraft in Austria (like you also did the Carenado PC-12)? Buochs, the Pilatus home base is at least as scenic and situated ideal for test-flying any Pilatus aircraft...
It’s just one of two airports I test at for consistency , lowz and kors

The F-35 is very easy to fly as well. I think though you have the F-16 so you already have a FBW fast zoomie jet?

Why would you want to hide the pilot? Then it would look like no one is flying the plane and it would look ridiculous!

How does this compare to the Deimos version? The flight characteristics seem the same.
Considerably more systems depth
EVERYTHING is a massive improvement over the Deimos version. I have both

You didn't try to open the canopy,so many aircraft fail in this area of detail............................
I closed it at the start :D It started open :D This one can't even close when the engine is blowing air back at it, got to be stopped, or blow it.
@@AvAngel If the canopy can be open in flight and it blows off its one step closer to DCS.. Cap would be happy

Great review! But i would be properly excited if we got a Tucano with full Moving map and avionics....sadly who can do this??? This cockpit looks very FSX? I mean lacking in MSFS interior graphics excellence? £d shine on instrumment detail? Doesnt convice me I am in the 'Pit? Those Mirrors are simple GHASTLY! Ugh1 Get rid of that graphics glitch!
Keep in mind this is a pre-release. The cockpit has had some extra prb work done in it. As for the mirrors, they are the same in every craft. Due to the physical angle of these they do clutch, this can be remedied by move the camera position back slightly (not zoom).
"This HUD is good", this HUD is a direct clone of a F/A-18 HUD from Asobo, probably completely not prototypical ;-)
Did you not see there are two? It allows you to use the actual PC21 hud, AND the F18 hud... there's a literal button :D
Cockpit textures are horrible.
Actually they're incredibly good!
You obviously didn't own the 1st PC21 did you if you think these textures are bad! These are a 1000% better compared to the last version!
