Another good professional weather report. For you Trolls it's not political it's a storm.
Exactly!
Whoever was the first crew to fly into a hurricane back in the day had some BIG kahunas! I mean anyone that's doing it now still has mad respect, but the first flight to do it. Crazy!
I was thinking the same!!!!
that goes for the first people that did anything "dangerous"
well imma do that tommorow except the hurricanes coming to me lol im in tampa bay
Some jets can fly above hurricanes. What makes the hurricane hunters crazy is they have to enter the hurricane to collect data. But nowadays we actually have ocean boat drones that can do the same thing.
I live in St Pete and i’m not feeling good about this… praying for everybody in the hurricane’s path, stay safe y’all!

Passed a lot of bucket trucks and linemen heading south on I-75... Looks like they're pretty prepared for anything... Go to the marina's and toss some extra lines/fenders on your boat... And your neighbor's...

I might toss some toilet paper for you
That's Florida for you. People who move to Florida keep forgetting about the yearly threat of hurricanes. Imagine to buy one of Tampa's ridiculously overvalued homes knowing it gets flooded 😳.
No matter where someone decides to live there is disasters everywhere. Midwest has severe tornados, north east gets pummled with severe snow, west coast gets severe rain drought, acres upon acres of brush fire and earthquakes. It's no different here in Florida than anywhere else. We deal with water.

Praying for the people in Jamaica, Cayman Islands and Cuba.

For sure. It's going to be a rough one.
We haven't seen one like this in a long time for Florida. Prayers for all in the path.

How can a person prepare when you do not have a car, and you live in a trailer……can’t get sand bags, can’t get supplies(except food from delivery) for poor people this is a nightmare. Trailers do not have insurance, they are not covered by hurricanes if they are older trailers
Most trailers should be strapped per county code. Mine I live in is older and is strapped. My parents live in an older one that completely remodeled and is strapped. If it survived Irma then most likely you should be ok.

Why would you go to a hotel or motel. Once the power goes out it's out. There's no refunds. It's check in at your own risk. Hurricane bro hurricane
@@carrtoon916 I feel you bro. Act like it is going to be a 3 to 7 day cookout. Also don't forget the mosquito/sand gnat repellant. Those things can be horrible when there is no air conditioner at night. Hopefully you will not need the helmet. If you freeze water in jugs it will help keep your food cold. Fill tub and buckets with water so you can flush your toilet. If you plan to cook out using wood place wood in a dry place before storm. Wet wood does not burn. Flashlights are also good to have. *1 of 4* Cities can eliminate homeless tent encampments by replacing them with *Homeless Shelter Villages* [HSV] using _Pallet Shelter's_ existing *Homeless Shelter Village* [HSV] components. The _Community Room_ sells for $37,000 and serves as a shared laundry room, restaurant, *child daycare center,* and addiction services center. The _Bathroom_ cost $35,000 and the _Services Office_ costs $9,000. So for only $81,000 a city can establish a *Homeless Shelter Village* [HSV]. *Section 7 of 66.* _The Arctic is Melting_ In a study facilitated by Greenpeace, a team of scientists are in the Fram Strait where warm waters originating from Mexico are brought up by the Gulf stream, flowing thousands of miles through the Atlantic to meet the Arctic ice edge. Eighty percent of the ice movement in and out of the Arctic Ocean happens through here. A massive change in the cycle is causing major concern to scientists. In the past sea ice loss has been a result of higher air temperatures melting the ice from above. But the warm water coming from the south is melting the ice from underneath. Ice core samples are being used to investigate what’s happening beneath the surface. The detritus of sea ice floes are teeming with zooplankton. A system dependent on the eruption of ice algae as the sea ice melts, described as a nutrient injection.

gets the views. i mean people should prepare within reason but making predictions before it passes cuba is just silly. we've seen this movie before. it could stall, move west, maybe it gathers some steam after cuba but then we get the dry air or shear... there are lots of things that could make this a nothingburger still ...and to your point, a cat2 isn't the end of the world

*Paragraph 5 of 6.* _We have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe, warns UN_ At 1.5C the proportion of the global population exposed to water stress could be 50% lower than at 2C, it notes. Food scarcity would be less of a problem and hundreds of millions fewer people, particularly in poor countries, would be at risk of climate-related poverty. At 2C extremely hot days, such as those experienced in the northern hemisphere this summer, would become more severe and common, increasing heat-related deaths and causing more forest fires. But the greatest difference would be to nature. Insects, which are vital for pollination of crops, and plants are almost twice as likely to lose half their habitat at 2C compared with 1.5C. Corals would be 99% lost at the higher of the two temperatures, but more than 10% have a chance of surviving if the lower target is reached.
