  • This is my video of my Curborough figure of 8 sprint meeting from 16th August 2020. A very wet day with a slightly drying last run. it shows all my runs together with filming of the return to the paddock and the paddock shots. spot the one car which is worth more that all the other cars put together (i think) and yes it is a Ferrari .
due to oil on the track there were delays and even more slippery track.
i ended up 2nd in class on the day behind a Race prepared TR7V8 (may have been 1st if it had stayed wet ??) and 1st on handicap.
not bed for a1959 triumph with only 116bhp!!
    hope you enjoy

Fascinating to see the performance in wet and slippery conditions as opposed to dry.

That was FUN! That is the closest I will get to driving a right hand drive car. THANKS

I bet you would like a few more tries at that last corner and goes onto the straightaway, I bet you could save some time. Good show.cheers

I’m sure I could do them all different/better, but with typically only 4 runs in the day you need to remember what “you should have done” for the next year !!
      Thanks for watching.

Yeah started out as a biker for many decades inc track and European tours.
In the car you tend to stay in your seat rather than gravel rash !!!

That would have been a challenge to drive in I’m sure!

Only 116 bhp? -- not bad indeed! Great sound -- how did you mike?

      Hi David
Yes 116bhp it’s 123bhp per metric (kg) tonne. I compete in a club class that is up to 130bhp/tonne.
The microphone is remote located on the rear bumper by the exhaust.

Hi thanks for your kind words. I have a stainless big bore system a four branch extractor manifold and a Phoenix system. The mic is by the outlet. The above link is a video where you can see under the back of the car.

Too much lift off you should do 79secs with more experience.
