The song started as a reggaeton one just to prank everyone. He wasn't releasing any "trap" songs so everyone was expecting this to be the come back of the real Duki.
duki was recently working on 2 albums that he released " temporada de reggaeton" and " temporada de reggaeton 2" and people wanted to hear the "original duki" in other words the young duki whose music was based more than anything on trap, He had already communicated that he was going to release his new album "temporada de diablo" referring to his beginnings when he mentioned that the diablo mode is his maximum splendor of trap, that's why the song begins with reggaeton as a joke for his fans, since everyone expected a trap, which is what he ended up doing in this song, he hasn't said a date for his new album, but we're all waiting

Duki is 🔥 af. I only wish you could really get the lyrics he's spitting on his tracks. His wordplay and lyrics really are great. The Google translate closed caption is wack. It's only giving you a fraction of the lyrics. Such a watered down version of what it really is. Same goes for other Argentinian rappers like ysy a, trueno, etc..
As others mentioned, he started with "trap"style hip-hop. He was in a group called modo Diablo. He started dropping "regeaton" music and helped him get more recognized in the music scene. He's been teasing dropping trap again. This is his first new "trap" song. In the end he states I hope u like regeaton season. Diablo season coming soon; referring to his roots with modo Diablo where they made trap style. Check out trap-n-export and quavo by Modo Diablo.
