Engine is from the Suzuki GSX-R750 :)
Are they homemade or can I buy one?
These have to be an absolute blast. Thanks for not fucking it up with crappy music.
NZ Salt Flats Racer yes, they are! Got to drive one on a wet roadcourse just this last saturday, and it was awesome!! Very direct, very instant, basically does anything you could ask it to do while being tremendous fun AND teaching you to drive. You climb in through the window with the steering wheel out the way. Three pedals, sequential shifter and super quick steering (about a turn lock to lock).
and this is why the finnish have the best rally drivers in history
It's in ow blod
And the best soviet noob soldier swarm killers in karelia
Sebastian Loeb is not Finnish🤔
What about the two Seb's!!!
@@paulcooper903 Sebastian Vettel is german I think🤔
These guys are absolutely insane.freaking love it.
I watch a lot of motorsports and this is the coolest shit ive seen in a while
It is much better in person. The sound that the engine makes at 16000 rpm is amazing!
Thats why it will only take another ten to twenty years for us amercans to enjoy them ...and i cant believe california dropped the ball on this one as they are always first like dune buggies dragsters hot rods dirt bikes with paddle tires harleys crotch rockets shifter karts jet cars moster trucks girls on wheels bliding me with science ..i live in the racing capital of the world ...WHERE MY FUCKING CROSSKART
@@donniebaker5984 haha
This look like it might be the best sport in the world. Goddamnit. 🤠
Dear Santa...
Actually they are very easy cars to drive with its fast steering, sequential gearbox and powerful brakes
Very short wheelbase and keen to spin out
Easy is relative to what you are used to I guess. Easier than a current WRC car? Probably not.
They look to have a really huge steering lock angle. For what these cost compared to a rally car they offer incredible value. I'd love one. Cant imagine they would be allowed on traditional rally events... here in the UK at least.
@@paulhope3401 I haven't driven wrc cars so I don't know about them. Yes - it will take a while to get used to the crosskart, but when you start to feel the grip and the brakes, you can pretty quickly keep the control of the car . But finding the limits and push flat out, of course that's difficult.
Looks like great fun. I wish I was able to drive one of those for a couple of days at least.
@@hellNo116 you can build one
I..... think i´m moving to Finland.
Love it. Finally my dreams from 1/8th scale off road are coming true. Trophy trucks are ok, but I've been waiting to see something faster and more agile for off road racing.
The sound is great, so beautiful
For the record , that’s not a challenge it’s just normal Finnish people going to work in the morning!!!
I was going to say this, but I will add especially when they are late lol.
That has got to be an absolute blast. 2wd, high hp to weight ratio, yes man, count me in.
That is absolutely a big joy to drive these karts
This is what I wanted for a Go-cart as a kid. I still do.
Build one
I had one, i want it back!
Alastaro
Even as we get older we need to embrace the kid Within
How many things have I missed out on in life , this looks totally brilliant,
How could this be any way fun? The damn scenery is splitting and splicing by you faster than a goddamn formula one or did i just now answer my own question?
People that live around snow seem to have all the fun....
If that doesn’t look like fun, I don’t know what does!
Wow does that look like fun! Those carts produce a lot of power too!
I love the Finns, they're absolutely nuts!
Way back to hell and gone ago, the Plattsburgh, New York SCCA chapter used to stage winter autocrosses out on the ice of Lake Champlain. I competed in a stock ‘69 Beetle and it was about the highest fun/horsepower ratio I ever experienced. I can only begin to imagine what a gas it would be to drive one of these little monsters!
0-60 mph 3 seconds, 125 mph max.
FANTASTIC !!!!!!
This looks great fun.
great compilation.
looks/sounds awesome
Very cool video, and no obnoxious music 👍👍
I hear that is illegal everywhere else because the fun factor is off the charts and would be dangerous to your Work Ethic.
That sound is amazing. It's like music to my ears. Thanks, now I have to build one of these. 🤣😂🤣
Are they using a chain differential or just a Gear on the drive shaft?
Great Action and Sounds...
Reminds me alot of the old Honda Odyssey or newer Polaris Ace. Would be right at home at any off-road coarse in the world.
FTW GSX-R 750 & Akrapovič poetry to the ears. Great Sound and Cars
Ok. This looks like fun!
No bullshit turbos, just raw superbike power plants
that's looks so freakin fun!
Finally Formula 1 rally :D
That looks like so much fun! I want to do this.
Contact us info@speedweekend.fi and you will do this soon...:)
Finnish Crosskart Challenge Without going to Finland?
Subaru Racer theedgeproducts.com
Forget Atom Ariel, I want one of those
holy car control! i cannot imagine that those are particularly easy to drive
Don’t always find wicked shit on CZcams but when I do I be sure to watch the whole thing with out using the fast forward button ever!!! I also show allot of people who could care less but atleast I get to hear the sound again !!! Wicked cool !
It puts racing sideways and extreme power back into rally :)
Wow , these karts kick ass!
Do people build these themselves or do you buy them from a manufacturer?
Looks like a hell of a lot of fun!
Not in america as they havent even tried to look
How do they fit such massive balls in there?!?
Incredible. We want to shoot this! How do we make that happen?
Where can I get one in pa
How would driving on snow affect tire life?
this needs to become worldwide
Yea like what are the aftermarket builders of a billion buck industry in the USA of just motorsports alone thinking as here is a cheery never popped in the USA before of a pinata full of gold and diamonds and no one is looking
these crosskarts are so fun though
amazing ride!
what tire size are they using?
Is the engine built for the chassis? Or is it taken from a bike?
Where can I get the cad drawing on such crosskart? =)
They have "Break Lights"...
Ai että kun naukuu mukavasti. Tätä kuuntelee ja katselee ihan ajankulukseen.
some on Speedweekend youtube channel, but in low quality...
Yes, please. :)
how exactly does one get into this?
Who do I make the check out to????
thank you!
Fun, Fun and FUN!
Hú de király kis cucc. Visszatérhetne velük idehaza alacsony költségből a valódi rally fíling.
How do they do that without a copilot?
Why not mount skis on the front?
Fan vad läckert, detta vill jag ha i Sverige också.
Hey! Can anyone give where to buy this???
Are those 2 stroke engines?
Huh huh, aikamoista meininkiä. Missä tätä ajetaan ? Jos joskus pääsisi vaikka paikanpäälle kuvaamaan / ihmettelemään.
thats some incredible driving. especially in that thing where all the weight is in the middle/rear i bet that things really snappy. not to mention on snow which isn't necessarily a bad thing. but you have to commit more than ever since if you bail mid drift in snow like that, you'll either be understeering into a tree or spinning out into the bank. not much room for error vs pavement where if you bail properly you have some chances of hooking up and getting through the corner ok if you slow down and get weight on the front wheels. plus in the snow you're always sideways; you could always have a bad entry, maybe it doesn't transition quick enough for the next corner, maybe you swayed a tad bit off the racing line so you have to compensate with more angle on the next corner, who really knows. and remember, all the weight is in the middle/rear. probably pretty snappy and responsive.
Thumbs up for the analysis 😁 from my own experience, they are pretty much understeering (at least on tarmac) in the corner entry if you fail to transfer the weight in the front wheels. So basically you need to turn the car with brakes and when the rear starts to slide, you control the angle with throttle and steering wheel
Would love to see these on dirt track as well.
He has more on his channel

just wondering what sort of shifting setup these have, really cool though if I were to set something up fo a shifter I'd want something like a car but with the clutch as a hand grip so you can hit the clutch and shift all at once.
Opaali I see not to familiar with bike setup used to more of a quad sort that have a hand clutch which I just assumed these had lol.
There is a foot clutch but when shifting up it's not that necessary to use it
Opaali ah sounds cool guessing you're just shifting based on Ron she. going in though the gears as you go faster just using the clutch to down shift, nice.
Reminds me of doing a
beer-run during winter time growing up in rural Michigan
When I lived in Alaska, I loved it when I had lower 48ers in the truck and I would go around corners sideways and not even have to over correct as it straightened out. My passengers would freak out because they had never experienced a car going around a corner sideways. Good fun!
erittäin kiihottavaa
Saukkolan pikkuradalla kokeilin kerran tollasta. Karuja laitteita. Millaset piikit noissa talvirenkaissa?
I feel like these would make great recon vics for the military. In the same way they use sleds.
True Xp with a machine gun on the roof! 👍💪😎
ok how come we don't have this in the US
Eu fico pensando como seria essas máquinas no raly dos sertões
This is the reason why they have had so many top rally drivers, that and the fact they pour Vodka on their cornflakes. Met a few of them in my travels and they are great company, if a little dangerous.
That black - orange on 1:20 :D
It's all in the tires and a good diff...
Pedal to the metal,
Rise or fall,
Way to go now,
Winners take all
Could you legally take one of these on the road? Are they faster than normal rally cars?
put lights and stuff on and try and get it registered for the road, can't get worse than not getting legal anyway you'ld still be a happy maniac with one of theese :D
Ok , someone needs to open up a kart track of this sort here in the States !
Awesome
I wonder how the wildlife is in the finish forest, any animals left?
These things sound angry... It's awesome.
Are the bodies manufactured, or are they built by the builders. Some sounded like snowmobile engines, and others like motorcycles. What aftermarket parts are available?
Luvstruck they usually use 750 ccm bike engines. Not sure though
They are made by INDUSTRIAS LAHOZ, located in Golmes (Lleida-Spain). i.e. www.speed-car.com/xtrm-e.html
Nice Drifting dude.
Was that Mika Kallio I spotted at the wheel? So that's what Scandinavian motorcyclists get up to in winter.
Qui sait combien fait un kart cross en scratch par rapport au rallye ??
MAN that looks fun. And expensive
lol that looks so fun ngl but it must be scary trying not to hit a tree 😂
Thanks to Hoonigan for introduce me to these awesome Crosskarts......man I want one :(
Its two years later of you announcing a hooligan introducing you to cross Kart and and still no video of Ken Block driving one
donnie baker not that I really want to see him drive one of those. I only interest on those crosskarts after I’ve seen one of their daily vlogs video.
Ok! Thanks =)
On my way home from work 👀
These sound like motorcycle engines with sequential gearboxes to me, anyone know what they use for powerplants?
Read the discription under the video. :)
were can i get my hands on one of these? (in sweden)
Contact us info@speedweekend.fi and we tell you.
Alot of people who doesnt take racing so seriously build the framme theselves. But you could look on 2nd hand sites like blocket.
I like this 👍
no copilot? this is madness :)
